  1. I think it's a matter of preference. You will find something wrong with everything. I enjoy and love premier protein.
  2. Good luck on your surgery. I'm scheduling my date for early October. I have to self pay so I kinda pick my own date
  3. Cool....that's really nice. I had no idea. Thanks for the info .
  4. I have had all my test done. Ready for the okay for surgery. My doctor is looking at beginning of October. I have to self pay because my insurance company denied me. I'm trying to stick to the plan my doctor gave me. I get so hungry and crave sweets and starches. So hard to believe one day I won't be able to eat as much as I do. What does it feel like not to be hungry? Is it a nausea feeling or is it a phentermine type of feeling? Just curious.... my hats off to all you that have gone through surgery. I will join you all soon, but until then...[emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]
  5. I use premier protein. Haven't had surgery yet but trying to cut back on starches and fats and add more protein. I put Carmel premier protein in my coffee. It has 30 grams of protein. I think it's the best one.
  6. Hey Tiff, I would recommend it to weigh yourself. There are no two scales perfectly the same. Just do what's been working and follow your doctor's advice. Everyone one here have different doctor's so I would go by what they are saying. If you doctor told you 1500 it could be because your working out in the gym a lot. Hang in there my sister.
  7. I'm in columbia md....hopefully, I'll be sleeved the end of September
  8. I thought about it but I'm kind skeptical about going to another country. The time I pay for flight, hotel, and maybe a rental car I be payed the same-thing. I believe my doctor will come down some more on his price because he really want to help me...[emoji56][emoji56][emoji56]
  9. Slender Bunny did Dr. Green do your surgery ?
  10. No my employer opted out of Bariatric surgery. We thought by law that they had to pay, but that's not the case. I work for a small company that is for profit and that's the way they do things....
  11. Thanks for the advice. I just spoke to my doctor's insurance person and it looks like they can charge the hospital fee to my insurance for out of network. Now my doctor is charging 6,000 so it looks like it will be around 9,000
  12. I just received notice that my insurance is not paying for my surgery. I'm so depressed right now. My doctor told me that one of my test showed that I gave gallstones, so I hope he can do both at the same time and I just pay him. My doctor's office said the cost is 5000 for the doctor fee and 10,000 for the hospital. Now, I'm hoping that that the hospital fee can be charged for the gallstone surgery and not the sleeve. Keeping my fingers crossed.

  18. Hello...how did you surgery go with Dr. Green? I went to him for consultation the beginning of July 2017. I'm in the process of getting all my medical test completed and waiting for my insurance approval.
