If you felt that much anxiety after seeing the scale jump by 3 pounds, perhaps it is time to weigh yourself less frequently. Try weighing in once weekly, or even once a month.
Realistic expectations are important. Weight loss with a sleeve doesn't occur in a neat, linear pattern. We lose pounds, then stall/plateau on occasion, then may even gain pounds due to Fluid retention or glycogenation before dropping weight again.
When is the last time you lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks through diet and exercise? I'm guessing your answer is "Never."
You're doing great. Stay off the scale and allow your body to sort through the trauma it has experienced. Expecting to lose a pound a day is unrealistic.

My surgery date is the 7th too. Started Clear Liquids this morning.

Good to hear this. I am having surgery on 7/7 and I have a BMI OF 29 closer to 28. I have a couple of underlying issues like back issues and elevated cholesterol. Looking forward to this journey. Any advice for me I would greatly appreciate it!

I believe it is a few weeks to a month. Well, you'll know by then.
I've had several clots and a couple pulmonary embolisms. The first clot wasn't diagnosed for about three weeks after the surgery I had. After I had my third child, I developed a clot and pe about two months later. They said that it was too far out to have been caused by my csection.

Just want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong but is it normal only 6 days post op to finish an entire 11oz Protein Shake in about 25 minutes?

5 months out you certainly can overindulge. The sugary cocktail mixes can be full of calories. Crystal Light mixes have flavors like peach, mojito, pineapple, mango, watermelon, and you can make your flavor of the day with little single packets, easy to carry. You can mix these also with Diet Sprite or 7Up if you want the dreaded fizz. They had nothing sugar free on Norweigian last year, like lemonade by the pool. Luckily I do like unsweetened tea at dinner, but Water and Crystal Light worked great. if you decide to indulge in a nighttime drink, order a shot of light rum, take to your room and mix with the crystal light. . Or order light rum over ice, carry your Crystal Light, and add to the drink. Enjoy your cruise! Caution, alcohol can hit you like a ton of bricks, and wine is no longer an option for me.
