I hope you're going to see your doctor. If tonsillitis you'll need antibiotics. Otherwise you can take Tylenol for the pain. Very warm salt Water mouth wash can also help. Tea. sugar free throat lozenges. If it's just a sore throat you might just have to wait it out. I get a sore throat from post nasal drip. If that's the issue you can get Flonase over the counter now. Hope you feel better soon.

When does it seem to happen? When walking? When putting pressure on your elbows? Or just anytime without a cause?
If it's anytime, you may have an electrolyte imbalance, and should get checked out.
Regardless, run it by your doc.

So far with the rny there are no seriously swallowing issues. I know if I drink too fast it's uncomfortable. Or if I eat too fast I burp A LOT. I'm not even a full month out yet but I noticed I am a slow loser. And I hit my first stall at about 2 weeks that lasted about 8 days. After that I started losing again slow but steady. Since my highest weight I've lost about 20lbs.
