Second Weigh in / Insurance / Sigh

Most insurance companies consider high BP a co morbidity as long as it is well documented by your Dr.
  2. Hi Peachy, I think the hardest thing to do is finally take the first step and you've already done that. Yea! I was banded on March 17, 2008 in Decatur and so far things have been great. I have lost 34lbs . Just make sure that you make all of your weight loss appts and think of any weight you lose as a bonus. Double check with your ins. co and Dr to see which weight they use in your submission.

Second Weigh in / Insurance / Sigh

From what I understand the doctor's office will use the initial weight for your insurance submission. That's what my doctor did. By the way I am from Rhome too. (Small world) Purplee33

    Going into complete panic mode

You are totally not the only one. I had a full blown panic attack the night before my surgery. If I could have gotten a hold of my doctor I would have called the whole thing off. I am so glad I didn't, I am five weeks out and I love my band. You are going to do great and it is absolutely normal to have those last minute worries.
