So happy to hear you are doing so well! Also on my healing journey in North Bay after my bypass on June 21st. It would be nice to share stories with a local.

Short term pain for long term gain ! Which hospital are you having your surgery at?

I've been having a super difficult time with it. I knew it was going to be a challenge but I wasn't expecting to struggle with it this much! I'm on day six and today is the first day where I can say I'm not hungry ALL THE TIME !!!! I was told after three days it should get better but it took me 6. Hope you have better luck with it. Not sure what they told you but I can only have the shakes, water, sugar free popsicles or jello. Having to cook for family is tough. Shopping for groceries is tough. lol I just want to stay away from anything that has to do with food. I'm not having cravings or missing food, I'm just hungry. The only bonus is that so far I've dropped 10 pounds so I am thrilled about that.

Mine is on June 21, a week before yours. So I'm on day 6 of my Optifast, how's day 1 giong?
