I'll ask my NUT but...
You may wish to consider bringing whatever protein powder or ready made protein drink you can tolerate. With this you are ensuring you meet your protein requirements. Then you can try to eat a 'meal' once or twice per day. Food choices are hard when you're out on vacation. If you remember to chose high quality protein first and add good carbs as a bonus (veggies, fruit etc) you'll be less frustrated. One app that I find extremely helpful is Baritastic. (I receive zero compensation of any kind from the app developers). Have fun & let us know how things went!! [emoji254]

What was your defining moment?
Defining moment was almost dying from sepsis from pneumonia, getting Type 2 diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia at the young age of 59. I knew I'd never see my granddaughter graduate from high school or college.

"Fat Clothes"
Yep. Dumped a ton of fat cloths to neighbors and our local women's shelter as well as transitional units. Like many, I've kept a fat outfit and put it on, of which it falls right off of me. Makes me happy on days I'm frustrated. [emoji254]

HOW LONG BEFORE THE WEIGHT LOSS STOPS?
- The first 100 days
Way to go!!!! [emoji254]- Any December 2016 sleevers???? How is your journey so far???
Congratulations! You've come a LONG way, keep it up!! Age: 60 Ht: 5'8" Sleeved 12/21/16 HW: 286 SW: 256 CW: 186 70 lb down since surgery 100 lb down since WLS journey start And yep, I've hit a stall. Yep, it is frustrating however I refocus on NSV's to keep motivated. [emoji254]- at goal, holding
Interested in knowing the answer as well.- 5 months out and I've lost a 3rd of myself!
Congratulations! [emoji254]- Slowest loser ever! Are several stalls in a row normal?!
Stalls are normal. Everyone is different with caloric needs. Try not to weigh daily. It could be you are building muscle with working out and may notice inch loss more than weight loss. Keep going! [emoji254]- 100 pounds down in less than 5 months? Holy cow!
Great job! Your surgery date was the same as mine. [emoji254]- Cheated on post op diet
Excellent advise! [emoji254]- The time pizza almost killed me!
Yep I can relate to the experience of eating more than able. I bought a "healthy" 1/2 sandwich, even had them hold 1/2 of the bread. Took 4 bites while waiting for my Dr's appt. and as soon as those bites hit my stomach I immediately had to vomit them up. That was an eye opening episode that I hope to never repeat. Thank you for sharing your experience! [emoji254] - The first 100 days
