Katiebal- That's terrible. I would be so upset. I hope all is well now.

Thank you. I needed to hear this. I have to go slow and trust my doctor.
-
Thanks everyone. This is helpful. I have been so discouraged because it's not happening fast. I have to be patient and wait!

I am 3 months post op and still have no resistance. Idk how much it will take and I'm not sure what to ask at my doctors visits. Any suggestions? I feel like my doctor isn't listening.

Stretching pouch
❤️Banded replied to LunaDarling28's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I know what you mean. Your pouch doesn't hold much in the beginning so you will feel like you can eat the same amount. I had my procedure on 4/18/17 and I'm still working on getting the right fill. I have had two fills and still feel like the amount of food has not decreased. It will happen but it takes time. Be careful when eating and chew, chew, chew. I had to have fluid removed yesterday because food got stuck two days ago and it streched above my band. Super excited for you. Stay positive, it will work eventually. I'm here if you need to chat about the band, we can do this together. -
I called and they want to see me tomorrow but this pain isn't going away. Have you ever experienced pain for several ours from the band? Never mind I just seen that you have the sleeve. Yay I'm not sure what it is. Super frustrating

I am having chest pains and I'm not sure if it's from the lap band or another issue. I ate 4 hours before the pain started. Has anyone else experienced chest pains before? I am 7weeks post op.
-
I am 6 weeks post op and still no weight loss. I have had two fills in two weeks and have a scheduled fill tomorrow. Has anyone else had an issue with weight loss and the fills not working? My first fill lasted about 3 days. My last fill didnt ever hold but I feel everything passing my band when I eat. I'm hoping tomorrow will get me to the "Green Zone".

That's awesome. My first 2/3 weeks were the most difficult. Now it's getting my band adjustment right.
-
Yay! Keep up the good work. You will feel better very soon. It took me about 4 days to feel myself. Congratulations!

Hello, I'm new to the band as well. It's an amazing tool to have to help you lose weight. It's not an easy fix but well worth it. Congratulations!
