  1. Hello! I was sleeved June 1, 2017 & I feel and look great[emoji6] my only regret is I should've done it sooner. My surgery was easy only pain was the gas monster? & my hair started shedding @ month 2, but I've been able to treat it so it's getting better. Congrats to all the June VSG friends[emoji7] HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:197(9/22/17) GW:180[emoji41]
  2. Waiting until hitting goal is great to buy the new wardrobe, but I have been shopping for must have ONLY clearance & mark downs because I dress for work and must be looking professional at all times so I placed a $10 limit on each piece so im not wasting $$ but still look cute #TransitionIsHard[emoji6] HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:197(9/22/17) GW:180[emoji41]
  3. Premier Protien shakes (vanilla & chocolate) are what I have been drinking since day preop & they are good plus at times I mix in my favorite fresh fruit to the vanilla like banana, papaya, strawberries, or even blueberries [emoji4] or I add powder peanut butter to the chocolate [emoji6] HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:197(9/22/17) GW:180[emoji41]
  4. I eat snack or small meals @ 6 times a day, lil to NO carbs & this is a huge help. HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:203(9/4/17) GW:180[emoji41]
  5. I never tried POSTOP fasting, I eat a snack or small meal every 2-3 hrs, when my sleeve is "empty" the hunger pains hurt. Also when I started the eating every few hrs my weight loss became steady. HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:203(9/4/17) GW:180[emoji41]
  6. Week 1-2 liquids, week 3-5 full liquids, week 6 puree, week 7-8 soft then regular diet at end of week 9 HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:203(9/4/17) GW:180[emoji41]

  9. It's difficult decision, I only told 4 people because I hate judgement so to prevent a "falling out" I kept my desicion a secret[emoji41] #NoOnesBusiness! If you allow their opinions to bother you it'll sabatoge your success, so don't allow the negative emotions inside of you or in your space[emoji7]HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:203(9/4/17) GW:180[emoji41]

  12. I had constipation issues prior to my VSG, I drink a Laci La Bean dieters tea it works wonders I order from Amazon but it's also in stores just a lil pricey[emoji41] I use organic honey to sweeten the taste. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001HCHGR0/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_Gm-SzbYDHJ9N7 HW: 247 VSG:6/1/17 CW:203(9/4/17) GW:180[emoji41]

  15. Hello my fellow sleevers and future sleevers! I had my VSG on 06/01/2017 and today is 08/08/2017. I must say this was one of the greatest decisions that I have ever made. Besides adjusting to the pre-op diet for 17 days prior to surgery, and fighting that "gas monster" for 1 week post-op I must say that this has been an easy transition that I should have done years ago, but at least I am in my early forties so I have alot of time to enjoy life and my new me. Thus far I have lost 30+ pounds in total and that puts me only @ 26lbs until I meet my goal weight (which I may change depending on how I look and feel at 185)! Prior to surgery I watched numerous youtube videos of past VSG patients, and read 100's of comments and post on this site which supplied me with alot of positive info as well as answering many of my questions. As of today I feel & look fabulous and my only suggestion to future sleevers is to DO YOUR HOMEWORK on surgeons, diet pre & post, vitamins, do's & dont's, etc. HW: 247 SW: 239 CW: 210 GW: 185
  16. Congrats to you!! The quick weight loss is scary and amazing, I'm 2 months POSTOP and I've lost 30+[emoji41] total. I got on scale this morning and when I saw I was 11lbs from onderland I almost cried[emoji7] I'm not far from my GW so I'm praying my weight loss slows down when I enter onderland[emoji6][emoji6] HW: 247 SW: 238 (6/1/2017) CW:210 GW: 185 Sent from my S8+ using BariatricPal mobile app[emoji41]
  17. CONGRATS!! You have done a great job and plz remain encouraged. Many times WE are our biggest critics and worst judge. Also do not allow your doctor to determine what your goal weight will be!! If your current size is comfortable then remain there, and plan for your next plastics procedure even if you must locate another surgeon 2nd opinions are ALWAYS an option, plus once you have the excess skin removed that will change you weight instantly!!!!![emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] Sent from my S8+ using BariatricPal mobile app[emoji41]
  18. I was sleeved on 6/1/17 & other than the gas monster after surgery I have been pain free with zero indigestion.
