Stuck
Try egg drop soup for a Chinese place that doesn't thicken the broth. I liked adding a dash of sirracha to it too. I was allowed to have it while on my liquids and it was great for fluid totals too HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
Yes here. I'm going to be formatting a spreadsheet and I will post it on here. I tried to do it tonight on my iPad but the app was being finicky HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
Sunday I swam for 55 minutes nonstop free and did 104 laps but the pool I swim at is only 20yards. The day before I was doing IM work. It just depends on the day what I'm doing. I'm just getting back into the swing of things. I've only been cleared to go back swimming two weeks ago. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
Sunday reporting works for me. I tend to swim laps. I haven't decided to use the twenty minutes a mile or my actual mileage. It takes an hour and fifteen minutes for me to swim a mile and a half. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a fitness challenge to complete 100 miles in 100 days. I've done one in the past and it helps keep you accountable for exercising. The one that I did in the past used twenty minutes of any exercise equaled a mile or actual walking or running distance. Though anyone interested could start on Monday Sept 11th which would go through to Dec 20th. Maybe post weekly totals and I will come up with a spreadsheet. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

Never ending period
I got my first iud years ago and it caused me to spot and have extra periods almost constantly for the first three months. Now nine weeks post surgery I'm back to spotting frequently with all the extra hormones as I lose weight. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

Multivitamin
Try taking it with milk or protein shake. Multivitamin can upset an empty stomach. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 219.8

I regret this surgery
The huge release of extra hormones don't help with our emotions. I'm two months out and know mine have to be extremely high thanks to my monthly visit turning into four. I use to work with IVF patients and can tell you that stress ( which your body is going through due to surgery and a major life change) plus too many hormones leads to depression, anxiety, hopelessness, and mood swings. Try going to your local bariatric support group meetings to talk out what you are going through or the psychiatrist that did your pre op evaluation . Hang in there. It should get better soon. IUD has moved
I haven't felt my mirena shift and I am two months post op. I have however started having periods again. I have had a mirena for the past seven years and only had periods the first four months where I basically had one long period with small breaks of not having one. After that initial adjustment to the first mirena, I have had less than a dozen periods. I'm hoping this new development will go away after I lose my excess weight and shift into maintenance later on. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 225.8

Sleeve vs. Bypass
I switched from sleeve to bypass before surgery. I didn't want to deal with GERD. I also wanted to not feel hungry longer, two months out and I haven't had any hunger yet. While watching this board, I saw several revision posts and that factored into my decision. I want to do this right the first time. I was 292 at my highest and 256.8 at time of surgery. I liked the idea of having two mechanisms for weightloss. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 225.8

Self control
It is incredibly freeing to not feel the need to indulge in food. I have been so lucky to not expire either any cravings so far post op. I love being able to go to an ice cream shop with my family and just socialize with them while they have their treat. I know never feeling hungry will eventually fade, but I am encouraged be the healthy habits I have established to date. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 230.2

June 2017 RNY
I'm doing well. Dense meats I can only take a couple of bites or I have problems. I eat mostly beans, eggs, or dairy for protein. I've lost 28lbs since surgery on June 29th. My doctor's office is very happy with my weightloss so far. HW-292 • SW (6/29/17) 256.6 • CW 230.2

Headaches
Dehydration can cause severe headaches. I got dehydrated even though I was drinking plenty of water because my sodium intake got too low. The water was passing through and not going into my blood/tissues. Check your micronutrients on your food journaling to see if all your electrolytes from food and vitamins meet daily values. Sodium isn't in vitamins because so much is added to processed foods. However all the foods I was eating were low in sodium. I was only hitting about 45% of my RDA.
