  1. My mini gastric bypass was 10 years ago. I lost 135 lbs, but over time the weight started creeping up. Once I gained almost 35 lbs back, I had to do something. I started working out with a trainer and have fallen in love with working out....which I never saw coming! I currently work out 6 days a week with my trainer in addition to doing an hour of cardio daily. I feel that I am in the best health of my life. It's not easy, but if it were...everyone would do it right!? Since the surgery 10 years ago, I have had one iron infusion. Other vitamin deficiencies have been handled through oral supplements...when i remember to take them. I often experience symptoms that I wonder if they are related to the surgery. Lately I get dizzy at night and have some weird GI symptoms weekly. Anyone considering surgery...i would do it again in a heartbeat.
