  1. I am now 28 days post-op and the nausea is worse. I have been re-admitted twice and DON'T want that to happen again if I can help it! I have been put back on liquids so hopefully that helps. The nausea meds really don't work for me. I am battling discouragement.
  2. I did throw up , was sweating and shaky. I still have cramps and am belching like crazy.
  3. Surgery first thing on a weds. morning, released mid morning on a Friday. Re-admitted the following week overnight for observation due to complications.
  4. How long does it last? I'm having the foamie issue right now and have been throwing up a little as well.
  5. How long does it last? I'm having the foamie issue right now?
  6. Do you find that one day a food is okay and then the next day it makes you very sick? That's been my problem. I've been getting in my protein and liquids okay but almost all food tastes sour to me. I am three weeks out from surgery...
  7. I am not vomiting from the vitamins but they make me very nauseated. I use the once a day chewable bariatric ones . I am trying splitting them in half and eating them slowly over a half hour or so and that has helped slightly. I was told by Cleveland Clinic that I could never use gummies as they aren't absorbed. I plan on asking about other choices at my next appointment. Has anyone tried the liquid vitamin machine that looks like a keurig that uses disks? ( I think it's called Tespo)
  8. I had my gastric bypass surgery on June 28 along with two hernia repairs. How are you doing? I'm currently on stage III puréed foods and beginning soft foods. HW : 245 SW: 221 CW: 196
  9. My doctor did not recommend the patch either.
  10. I have had some of the same problems. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
  11. I've had terrible GERD for years. I too have less than 100 pounds to loose but I have medical complications..( two hernias, one of which was giant along with gastroparesis and more) my doctor told me that the RNY was the best choice for me and that if I didn't lose and keep off the weight my hiatal hernia could return in as little as three months. I am two weeks post op and although it's a struggle, I'm glad I made this choice.
  12. Me too. I had to get a nausea shot and more nausea pills to take.
  13. You would become very dehydrated, which can be dangerous.. deadly even...

  22. I just got approved as well! Congrats! I start the liquid diet in 3 days and my surgery is set for June 28th. I have been seeing specialist after specialist since January . The waiting is hard isn't it?!
  23. Me too. My gastric bypass surgery is June 28th I have two hernias that will be repaired at that same time as well so I'm a little nervous about all of that taking place at once. I start my pre-op diet the 14th. I've been having health issues since January and have been on a partial liquid diet since then so I'm hoping that helps. Best wishes!
