Preparing for surgery

My surgeon submitted all paperwork to insurance today, and scheduled surgery for July 19!! Fingers crossed it gets approved.

they did give me a list of vitamins to buy and protein shakes/powders but I want to know what other drinks/foods I should rack up on prior to surgery so that I can have everything at home and make it easier for my husband (since he will be taking care of our 2y/o son as well).

    Good luck on surgery!!! I'm waiting for approval but if it's approved I'll be set for 7/19 ??????

    Are you a coffee drinker? Maybe decaf too. I've gotten chicken broths, veggie broths and beef as well.
