  1. Hi there, i had MGB 10 weeks ago and down 30 lbs, i would highly recommend it, i'm just sorry i didn't do it years ago! I feel great, there is a slight adjustment period to what you can and can't eat, i can pretty much eat anything now, just smaller portions and obviously limit sugar and fat to a minimum, white bread is the only thing that i absolutely avoid, it feels like it goes into a ball in my stomach, but to be honest i dont miss it. Trying to get enough fluids in for the first few weeks is the hardest but managable. i was back to work within a week of hte surgery (office work) i was tired for a couple of weeks and the discomfort/pain is minimal. IF you have any specific questions please let me know and i will answer as best i can for you :) Best of luck, its changing my life........

  2. Thanks for the replies, thankfully its moving nicely again, and i'm down 30lbs now after 10 weeks, so its averaging out now, for anyone that has a stall, dont worry they are temporary, just have to have the patience to ride them out. Also i think it helps that i am now able to eat a bit more which is actually helping with the weight loss ironically!
