Shared it elsewhere, but I’ve finally been able to put my wedding ring back on. A little bit snug (coming off) but it slides on. I’m a happy wife right now. 😊😍❤️
....how do I add pics to a status?

Really excited to have gotten back into jogging! I used to do cross country back in high school, but after putting on weight I found running difficult, painful, and that I was getting injured often. I'm in the middle of couch to 5k right now and I'm so amazed at how much easier and more pleasant jogging is! Can't wait to get faster, be able to run longer, and see the pounds/inches continue to come off

Got my date, and I'm kinda bummed because its so far away: March 14th. My surgeon is a marshmallow about the dates, but his office staff is run by an 86-star general and she says I have to have 180 days in before we file with insurance -- not just 6 dietitian meetings, but 7, effectively. And here I thought I could even get in early -- nope! Oh well, it is what it is.
My personal goal is to lose 10 pounds by March 1st, but no more. Feels doable.

OK people, what have you done or wish to do after surgery that you haven't done in a while? Me, I can't wait to run again. Running is something I enjoyed in the past, however, my knees can't take it right now.

I fit into a size 12 ya'll. A SIZE 12!!!! OMG!!! Yes. I only lost 2.2 lbs but I dropped 2 dress sizes. I have to get a 14 in pants because my butt is big and the 12 wont go past my booty.
This week is buffalo chicken for lunch and breakfast is turkey bacon and eggs. That is small bag of ranch (1 tbsp).

Hello Citizens of WWWL ! (Wonderful World of Weighing Less )
I just wanted to say HI. Today is probably the first day I've felt really emotionally powerful and happy since my surgery on 8/25. I feel like I'm finally finding my way out of one of those labyrinth mazes (outdoor, made of tall hedges, or a corn maze) I stepped into the maze on the 25th, and have been stumbling around running into deadends, and cut offs, and switchbacks with how much to eat or drink, how much exercise, will this $%&*# period ever end, etc. Today I woke up and started my morning routine of Omeprazole and multivitamin, 3 oz of protein shake, and in a couple of hours, my calcium chew.
I feel like, except for my apparently never ending menstrual cycle of annoyance, life is finding an equilibrium. I can see a little further today! I wish you all a blessed day, and hope that you will find joy in whatever you choose to do!
Hugs,
BunneyGirl-----Genelle

They warned me that I may not lose any weight immediately after surgery and they were right. I've stayed the same to the tenth of a pound. I've got my protein in every day, done my exercise (actually more that recommended), and got most of my daily water in. And I've eaten only those foods dictated. So Frustrating!. Any suggestions on how to break this plateau?

I didn't know about this three week stall but I am there right now. I agree that hiding the scale is a good idea. It's hard because I want to know my progress but my clothes are all loose. I already had to do one huge overhaul of my closet and more than half had to be donated!
I am looking forward to more exercise besides just walking. I heard that will help too!

This weekend I purchased my first high fashion designer dress, that was not on clearance. Since I am kinda weight stable I decided to treat myself. I love clothing and I have always wanted to own a high end designer dress but I obviously I could never fit them before. It feels so good to go into a luxury store and have the sales people cater to your every whim. I am enjoying playing dress up with my new body so much!

Haven't been here for a while.. So let me catch you all up. As you all know I lost my band in March. Still hanging around 150... but I do need to get to the gym. Still in the 4-6 size jeans...
I quit my job in Houma and moved to Madison, Ms. Wasn't expecting to get a job so quick. Went on Three interviews on a Friday and got Three job offers. So I took the best one for me.

So here I am at one week post op and feeling great. Even the gas problems disappeared. Yesterday and today I got back into my 30 minute walk routine feels great. Tried on some clothes I wore to work end of June and they don't fit! Probably because of the 40 pounds I lost pre op. But either way best decision I've made in a long time.

Isn't it a great feeling? I just did my first overhaul of my closet and half of the stuff is being donated. The other stuff I had from when I was smaller and looks even better now! Great job and keep up the good work!

3 More days and I will be sleeved, I am nervous and my general thought is everyone is at this point, I am a big baby when it comes to pain and I a positive from everything I have read that the first few days are not pleasant... Everyone has their own journey and I am hopeful that this is the start of mine, I was just as concerned for my pre-op diet but I have been just fine.... Im sure this is not going to be easy but I am sure it is well worth it for the future of of myself and my children then deserve a happy healthy mommy and I deserve a happy health life <3

It is day two of my pre-op diet. I feel like crap, and I'm tired. Worse of all, I'm hungry! Although I'm sure I'm following the pre-op diet rules properly, I still feel like I'm doing something wrong. If I was doing something wrong, would I be this hungry? If I was doing it right, would I still be hungry? I was told 2 snacks a day (on the list), 2 protein shakes replacing meals (premier protein- check), and a sensible meal with up to 6oz of lean protein (meat like chicken or fish and NO carbs). I'm so friggin hungry!!! Maybe I'm not drinking enough water? I honestly didn't think this was going to be hard. I definitely overestimated myself. I think I've been humbled by this experience. ugh! soooo.....hungry.... :-(

You're going to do wonderfully! I was sleeved 8/8 and the first few days were challenging, but I was up and walking and all of that a few hours after surgery. Now, just short of three weeks post op, I have so much energy it's crazy!

Just out of Surgery on Monday August 7th! Couldn't keep anything down the first two days, now starting to be able to tolerate the liquids but feeling a little hungry. Its not difficult to stick to the diet considering my body wont allow me to do otherwise but its def a pain wondering when I'll be cleared for other foods!
-
I just bought the added protein! I can't wait until it comes in. That should help me a bit! I automatically go to puree diet Wednesday as long as I can tolerate it. I can't wait for something else. lol. I will be adding the protein to things as I can though to up my protein.
I bought beneprotein. They gave it to me in the hospital and so far it has been the only added protein I can tolerate.
