Hi all, quick update, I am close to my 10th month post-op. I was VSG’d 03/10/17, HW: 405, SW: 385, CW: 230. My goal weight is 190.. I have been struggling with the last 40 lbs, it seems to be attached to my body LOL.. I am very thankful to this process; it is definitely a great tool. However, it is 50/50 we need to engage the other 50% and battle every day with our old bad habits. I hit stalls 3 times, and they last for weeks.. I don’t even look at the scale, now is my enemy (LOL) , instead I rely on clothing and noticed I am losing size… I increased my workouts the last 4 months, I hope I can meet my goal by March 1st, sharing this few photos for now… Will post more in March and I hope I can see a difference. Home made soups.. add lentils, maybe chicken and bleed your soup.. I was doing that during my introduction to solid foods..

At my close to 10th month I haven’t had cereal.. but I guess you can after 2nd month you can eat anything you want in portions.. I would suggest high protein cereal.. and of course low in sugar

I know..the last 35-30 pounds are a killer and though to lose, they seem to be atrached to us LOL. I am actuallu increasing workouts and have more core workouts....

Only doctors can point you to right direction.... check with yours pal.. and I wish there is no complications.. best of luck

When is your surgery date? As far as the question, I am happy with ny Doctor.. at the end of day doctors are doctors... they go by the time 😜.. just make sure his/her reviews are ok

I was 405, no complications at all. Pre surgery was a pain, Indid not loose weight (only 20 lbs). Post surgery was great, I dropped average of 15 lbs the first month and half.

Did you choose yet? Trivedi works at HMC, nurses and peps are great there.. all I remeber was nurse telling me “sweat dreams”.. and boom I woke up

Trivedi was my Dr too. No complaints at all. I went to the same place LOL

This actually the principle in how we lost significant amount of weight with liquid diet pre and post op. i believe in IF and doing it now.. of course you need to make sure you eat right when it is time to eat 👍. I remeber fainting for seconds because In wasn’t eating enough 😜
