  1. OMG Why yall fridges look like you live with Martha Stewart. Crisper drawer? Ah you mean a place to throw the eggs sometimes! I live off shakes in veggies these days so most of my stuff is in the bottom to drawers. That big pink bottle is my 1 gal jug that I smash everyday!
  2. I don't know you personally but I love the majority of your posts. You're definitely welcome, but you'll already be here! Of course you and I will long be dead. I meant Sol as in Solar system. I should leave some note urging my kids to change the name. It'll get pretty awkward at galactic planet meetings full of civilizations that have their own sun as well. Sometimes more than us! Ha! One sun. So inefficient.
  3. Again all great points. You are indeed in out the box thinker. I would a imagine those ALL those scientists are too is the point Im trying to make. They know this stuff. YOU know this stuff. A quick google search and ANYONE can learn this stuff. I'd rather believe my grandkids. who will be leading the research on human DNA resequencing, will be living in a society where such blockbuster events couldn't be kept in the shadows. DNA analysis has indeed been used to people behind bars. Lots of guilty and innocent people have been put to death because of the "Gold Standard" DNA Analysis. You can do a good search and find plenty of verifiable stories of DNA analysis failure. That's why no prosecutor goes in with just DNA evidence alone. It Ain't perfect. Nothing is. I'm OK with that. Lets not hinder progress with fear mongering. I plan on one of my oh so many great kids being the President of The United Planets of Sol. Don't ruin my dreams! *Just want to add the Government already has all our DNA anyway, and our parents gave the permission.. They collect it in the form of blood tests we receive as babies to check for a crap ton of disorders*
  4. You make excellent points, but riddle me this. How can you think up this possible crime crime, but don't think a team of IT scientists wouldn't come up with counter measures for such a scenario? Or even take it into account? [emoji848]
  5. I love this comment.
  6. Ignoring warnings from the CDC or even their whistle-blowers is exactly how you get a zombie apocalypse. Dont be the one to unleash doomsday upon us all! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Some people punish an eye for an eye, this time it's going to be bun for a bun! (As mild a joke I could manage. I deleted several in my head. Ya'll go get me banned!) My proudest moment in 2018 was finally seeking mental help. Everyday is a struggle, some days more than others and recovery doesn't move in a straight line. BUT I feel healthier both physically and mentally better than I ever have. I never would have been able to achieve the weight loss on my own that I have so far if I had not reached out for professional help. In fact I'd be compost (Future goals, get cremated and thrown in a garden). Instead I've got decades more SINNING to get down too! My Pride or More time. I made a pretty OK choice
  8. I scheduled for the 15 as well. I've completed all pre-op work. I'm just waiting for the hospital to call me with an arrival time! Diet I'm on is one I've put myself on anyway. 4 shakes and meal. Day of surgery and the next day will be clear liquids.
  9. Well ****! I guess you knew what needed to done and did it! [emoji23] Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. As someone who nearly lost the of their life do to lack of communication and taking bad advice from outside people miserable in their own love lives, talk to YOUR man. TALK to HIM. If need be seek professional help. Youre paying someone to operate on your body. Pay someone to operate on your marriage. Don't trow it all away until there truly is no hope. You what you need to do Sis. You've got this! Sent from my SM-N950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. This sounds like something I would say. Got a little sin in ya huh? Well done [emoji23]
  12. I also notice many people who get wls fail period. Old habits die hard sadly. Of course it's never too late unless you're dead!
  13. I hope so because as of right now if that thing was a thong it would be all up in my ass! *2019 Goals* This year I'm reaching my goal weight of between 140 and 160. As the Dothraki say "This is known". By the end of year I'll be gaining weight in the form of muscle. This too is known.
  14. Music helps me live. Thanks for this!
  15. Starting weight is 249.9. My January goals are to make it to the 230's before my surgery on the 15th of this month, and have a successful surgery! Tonight I go in for pre surgery instructions and what not. I still don't know the exact time of my surgery. I was told that the hospital would call the night before. Whhhhy? Why must they torture me so? Don't they know I'm a planner!?
  16. Before Can't wait Not waiting for the new me! She's here now!
  17. I'd say! Looking forward to starting this challenge. My goal is to lose 15lbs in these 14 days before surgery. Completely doable at my size. I feel I'll be cheating a bit since I am having surgery on the 15th, but I'm not sitting this one out!
  18. Girrrrl I had some greens and hot sauce Monday night for dinner and let me tell you! I ain't even miss the ham.
  19. Dangit the curse has followed me here as well! My dad is from Louisiana and my mom is South Carolina. Here I am, born, bred, raised in Michigan, yet as soon as I open I mouth people are like "what part of Texas are you from?" ? OMG all the jokes in school! I was cowgirl this, or Texas toast that. Where on this side of the Mason-Dixon is this mystery accent this people claim I have!? A long time ago when I was a bright eyed and bushy tailed Sin, I was working in a retirement home. This one dude I was taking care of was blind and deaf so he had this device that we would speak into and it would amplify our voice to his headphones. Well that thing sucked ass because we'd have to yell into that thing so damn hard! Whenever I'd take care of him he's say "Oh you're that county gal" Or my favorite "Oh is everything bigger in Texas, or are you just happy to see me?" I'm stuck wondering WTF are you talking about old man? Are you sure you're telling this joke right?Instead I'd just fake laugh. Oh the things we'll tolerate for pay. So long story short; no. No I ain't from the south sweetheart. ?
  20. Let me also say thank you for giving a few days heads up on this. Most of the time it's like damn, give me some time to hide the rice!
  21. I'm definitely in it to win it! I came late to the other challenges so I'd love to be here from the start!
  22. Challenge Starting weight: 256.9 Current weight lost: Unknown. Will weight tomorrow! Losing or maintaining weight: losing Fitness/exercise goal: I bought this awesome desk elliptical thingy called Cubii jr. I love it! I use it at my desk all day. I'm gonna have legs like Tina Turner! I also do upper body weight training with resistance bands. Total weight loss at the end of challenge: (Post January 1st 2019) Check in: Tell us how you are doing - (How is your diet and exercise plan going? Any struggles? Stress level? What have you overcome? Any strategies that have helped) Alright dog, what had happend was....CHRISTMAS! You want to know what I did for two days straight? No i didn't eat sweets. Didn't take a sip of egg nog. Didn't even lick pie off my wife's fingers. (A decision I regret deeply) No, none of that stuff! What I did do however, was eat more rice then I have possibly eaten in my life. Not not Black rice, not even brown. In fact the only color evolved with said rice was the guy on the box. No ladies in gents, the culprit was plain, Old. White. Rice. With copious amounts of garlic and onions. I mean whyyy Sin? Whhyyy! Now I'm stuck feeling as bloated as the national debt, and have gotten to know my toilet bowl very well. I'm even on first name bases with the one here a work, Man f**k rice!
  23. OK I'm I clearly need to look for a new brand of tin for my foil hat because you're all up in my brain girl! (Hey I've just invented a creepy new pick up line!)
  24. I can't wait to add those things back into my diet. In moderation of course!
