DEPRESSED AND DISCOURAGED
31 pds in 3 months? That's an awesome loss! I would personally prefer to lose slow vs rapidly but it seems to be out of my control. I'm down 43 pds since my surgery date 10 weeks ago. I think it's important to realize everyone has their own journey and our bodies are different. chin up, you're doing awesome!

Why?
I am not far out but thes are good questions! What initially attracted me to VSG was the fact that I would never feel hungry again but I have learned that the gherlin returns..as far as regain is concerned I think people fall into bad habits & thus gain weight. I have also heard of slow digestion for some as a reason but please take my 2 cents with a grain of salt as I learned this from others stories.

Low BMI - VSG 6/2 (panicking!)
You have to do what's best for you! Once you have it done that's it, no going back. I was nervous leading up to my procedure but I did it! And I feel I had no choice. I was 235 pds at 4"11 yoyed for 6 years and was borderline diabetic & I think I have undiagnosed pcos from the weight gain over the years. I couldn't live another year like that. Hope you find comfort in your decision.

Lapband to VSG
This makes me feel I did best choice by not getting lap band! Vsg is a great tool and is very popular. I would research and do hw before making decision! Best of luck to you

Not sleeping at night.
I experienced this also I was a few weeks out and would feel shaky and could not sleep, heart was racing & everything. I think some of it was stress related for me.

successful sleevers?
Well I am far from disillusioned, I read a 5 year study about regain and WLS patients. I have every intention of utilizing my sleeve to help me continue to lose & maintain. There are many people who are successful and they are further out than you. Everybody's journey is different. I would enoucrage any interested in WLS to look at success stories as well as those who didn't make it to where they wanted to.

successful sleevers?
I am just glad I made this choice for myself. No matter what I did before I couldn't stop eating and was never full. My stomach was a bottomless pit haha. This surgery is merely a tool & I have already made major changes to my lifestyle at only 9 weeks out. Seeing myself physically change is just an incentive. I also have regular bowel movements
