I've learned that I, as a VSGer, can handle anything so long as I approach everything with baby steps. Food? Slow and low. Excercise? Same thing. Cooking? Yup. But planning? Intense...   15. I told my mom, just in case I died during surgery. VSG is MY choice, but I am my mom's son, and just like I would want to know if my daughter was having surgery, regardless of whether I agreed of what is was for...., I felt mom deserved to know of my physical safety.   16. I've add always been private, but felt it necessary to tell my mother that I was contemplating surgery for a VSG, but told hetnt to tell ANYONE.
