  1. You look wonderful, happy and healthy! Thank you for sharing. I'm only 8 weeks post op, and it is great to see your post that shows several years later your still maintaining and healthy. Hope to post a similar success story myself one day.
  2. Everyone feels different, you may feel calm because you did the research and your looking toward the future of a healthier you. I didn't find this forum till after my surgery, and it has been a blessing to reach out to others. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  3. Everyone's body is different, but stay on top of it, I was a week out before I had my first BM, and then it was another week, I could feel the discomfort building. Milk of magnesium is the only laxative my dr allows. It works great for me. Stay up on your water, and I found dulcolax suppositories sometimes can help get things started. I currently take benefiber each morning to and it seems to be helping.
  4. Half my post cut off, ( at least it looks like that in my phone )[emoji15] Current weight 4/7 227.8 Goal weight for this challenge 207 Thanks again!
  5. Forgot to get online last night Goal Weight: 140 Current Weight: 227.0 Today's Date: 4/7/2017
  6. Constipation has been my biggest problem. Making sure you are drinking all your water it will help. I am drinking benefiber daily in the morning, its been hard to get a lot of fiber in my diet when I'm focusing on protein. I also have milk of mag and suppositories if needed.
  7. Congratulations! NSV are great as scale victories. Keep up the good work!
  8. I just had my 6 week check up 3/31, my surgery on 2/15, I've lost 25 pounds. My surgeon was very happy, 20-25 pound is just were they wanted me to be at 6 weeks post op, so it was a great appt. Dr said I'm right on track! We got this!
  9. You look wonderful! Thanks for the inspiration!
  10. I have a pill container for the week, and I downloaded an app called round and set a reminder for each pill. It has been a lifesaver.
  11. Best of luck, and wishing you a speedy recovery!
  12. Awesome! You got this!
  13. Bone broth has more protein then just broth. I really don't like eating meat, I am just to get the protein, but I would prefer not too. I usually drink a premier protein drink a day to help, but they taste terrible, too sweet. I like my Genepro 30grm protein powder, I prefer drinking protein water but it's expensive. I wish someone would make it in a protein water powder, I dislike protein shakes. Good luck, it does get better.
  14. Best Wishes and a Speedy Recovery!
  15. Congratulations! It's great to see the scale move in the right direction and all those other NSV!
  16. I was nervous too! Best Wishes and wishing you a speedy recovery!
  17. It could just be all the excess IVF coming off from surgery. If you had a urinary catheter during surgery, you could have some irritation from that as well. A long as there is no pain with urination you should be ok. When in double check with your physician. Best Wishes on your journey! Walk and stay hydrated. edited to say IVF= Intravenous fluid
  18. Amazing! You look wonderful, congratulations [emoji324]
  19. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
