Sleeve1stFitNext got a reaction from mxpxchik11 in Vitamin struggles, need suggestions!
Have you tried Alive! chewable Calcium with D3? I use it and I have not problems. It reminds me of Gummy bears.
I also use Alive! Women's Multivitamin. Unfortunately not every flavor is delicious. When I plan these Vitamins, I take two of the same.
Also buy the small pill containers. I have 8 (see picture below). That's an example of one of them. They come in all colors. I have one of each and stack them in a rainbow. It makes me laugh but also reminds me. I do a pack and go for the week. In addition there is the app called Round. I use it to because it sends notifications to my phone to remind me to take my vitamins.
    I hope this helps you.

I am sure you already know but watch your carbs too. That maybe holding you back. The general consensus is 20g of carbs or less. Also try tracking your food intake. This can give you a better idea on where you succeeding and where you need to work on.
Also remember, that you are still healing and your body is going crazy trying to take care of itself. Right now it won't be worried about weight loss. It is probably just holding onto the weight due to shock. Give it time, you will lose again. Also I stall for 1 week and lose big the next. Try to keep a weekly track of weight loss too. It actually helps you figure it your bodies partners.
Mines goes like this every month:
    week 1: Major loss (3 - 4 lbs)
    week 2: okay loss (2 - 3 lbs)
    week 3: little weight loss (1 - 2 lbs)
week 4: barely any weight loss (0 - 1 lbs)
    I hope this helps.

My boyfriend became distant right before surgery. I really thought that he would not show up the day of it. He ended up being there before I got there. He apologized for being insecure about what would happened and while I waited for my turn, we spent that time just talking.
Now, he is the most supportive. I believe I drive him up the wall with my constant talking about it and how I feel. However, he will listen. When we go out, his eyes light up when I look at the healthier options. He laughs when I say okay, I am full. He thinks it's the cutest thing, when I ask for a kids menu (IDK WHY).
He even got us YMCA memberships because he knows I love swimming and he thinks that would be great for arm and leg toning.

Yogurt, can count but it needs to be sugar and fat free or low fat.
Since I am lactose intolerant, I cannot have yogurt, however this is my following regime:
    Breakfast: Protein Shake
    Snack: 1 Cup of broth
    Lunch: Protein shake
    Snack: sugar free Popsicle
    Dinner: Protein Shake
    Snack: Sugar Free Jello
I am allowed cucumbers and non starchy vegetables. So every other day I will have cucumber.
Your Protein Shakes are your meals. The yogurts, jello and popsicles are considered your Snacks.
In between that time is a ton of Water. It takes me about 15 minutes to drink my shake which I do not mind.

It took me 7-days to go. I had nothing but warm tea and hot baths. I would force myself to walk. I was not very happy because it was causing back pains. I also used a warm compress on my tummy to help relax and try to release some of the gas.

It is okay. I had regret. I call it buyers remorse. It will make you rethink every life decision you made. However, I promise you being that I am 2 months post-op, it gets easier and you will feel better. Right now it is uncomfortable and the pain maybe unbearable but do know it gets betters. I do not regret it now at all.

It is time for a vacation. I do agree that it gets tiring when people constantly ask you questions about your weight loss and what you eat? However, it is just people whom are curious.

Unfortunately, for some it is bad. I had it bad. I also do not regret it. With me being in pain 24/7, my views of this surgery and food have forever been changed. I will never want to do something like this again. This is a one time thing. This is my last shot and this painful. I think that if I had a smooth recovery, I would not really have been inclined to change my relationship with food that much. Now, I eat to live and I choose the best and most healthiest food I can find. That is because I do not want to go backwards. I want to continue going forward and finding new receipts and foods to try. It gets better I promise it does.

Oh it is normal. Lol I had a dream that was sooo real I thought I had eaten ice cream. My dream was me walking through a Supermarket and I cam to a giant freezer with every one of my favorite Edy's Ice Cream. I had a spoon. I opened each ice cream and took a spoonful and ate it. I then closed the ice cream and put it back neatly. I backed away slowly as to not get caught lol.

Sleeve1stFitNext reacted to soccermom2 in Wonderful Experience with BariatricPal So Far
I was set to get my surgery in June, then we found out that our house had termites and there went a good portion of my surgery fund! I was nervous mainly because I had already paid my $500 deposit to have the surgery. However, Bill was very understanding and quickly got my deposit refunded.
I still hope to have surgery as soon as I can save the money back up, but I was very impressed with how this company handled my situation. They could easily have just taken my money and ran with it or told me that I had to make it work but they didn't. They are not out to get your money! From booking to having this unfortunate situation arise, I have had nothing but positive experiences with BariatricPal!
Thank you BariatricPal TeamMX! Not only do you have one of the best bariatric surgeons in Tijuana, but you are a team that I know I can trust- a team that has its patients' best interests at heart!

Everything looks good, food wise. I better get off Pinterest. Well, I know this is going to be a live and learn deal in the beginning, but I'm going to try a scrambled egg softened up with a splash of milk. Maybe.
