The restroom
Oh, I did not have that problem. I am mostly backed up. Honestly, at least you can go. Laxatives have become my bestie in this world lol. Now if you are peeing, then that is just the amount of water you are taking in. I peed a lot.

Just starting.
Honestly, it all depends on the following: 1) Your Insurance guidelines to have it covered 2) Your surgeon guidelines to feel comfortable performing the surgery For example: Myself I had to do 6 months worth of appointments and testing. I had to do a EKG, Pysch Eval, stress test, visit the dietitian and nutrition. While doing this, I had to keep track of my food intake and lose some weight. After that I had to wait for the insurance to approve me and then wait for my surgeon to schedule a date. All and all my process took close to 7 1/2 months. Now, every surgeon and insurance company is different. It even varies by state as a well.

Need typical day menu
@HDScarlett Unfortunately, everyone is different. However, here is what I was eating at 7 weeks out. For breakfast: I had boiled egg whites (hate the yoke) (2). For snack: I had 7 olives and a powerade zero calorie drink. For Lunch: I had 4 oz of chicken breast, 1 tsp of guacamole and 1 tbsp of sour cream. For snack: the remainder of my brocolli and cheese. For Dinner: I will have 4 oz of salmon and 1 tsp of guacamole. or Breakfast: Baked Turkey Bacon (3 Slices), 1 Boiled Egg white. Snack: 14 Olives Lunch: 2 oz of chicken, 1 tsp of sour cream, and 2 romaine lettuce leaf. Snack: Sugar Free Popsicle. Dinner: 2 oz of Chicken and Romaine Lettuce with 1/2 tomato. Snack: 1 pickle Note: I have low blood pressure and was instructed to add salt to my diet. I choose to use olive and pickles to help. I do not season my meats with a lot of salt neither. I also measure my food and portion it out. I do that because I can semi-accurately keep track of my food intake. That way if I am deficient somewhere I can make an informed decision to add somethings else later on.

Ice cream
Its just a bite. It happens. Even to the most devoted. Just do not get caught up in the indulgences because that will be your downfall. A little ice cream every now and again is okay. Even the healthiest people in the world will admit that they indulge from time to time. As long as you jump right back into Healthy eating mode, you will be fine.

Husband eats constantly
Honestly, I don't think he is doing it on purpose. What I mean is, he is most likely eating the way he has always eaten but because you could join in or you would be doing the same, you never noticed how much it was. People tend to notice others doing what they can no longer do. Since you cannot eat currently, you are noticing more of what others are doing. I did it and I still do it. You are just in the first week of frustration. Once you start eating meals again, you won't notice as much.

Help!
It's most likely muscle or a stall. It happens to all of us. My suggestion, stop stressing about it and try to relax. The stall will break. Try Focusing on how your body is fitting into your clothing. You are probably losing inches at this point. I barely lose on the scale but I keep going down in sizes. Example) This month I only lost 1.4lbs but dropped 2 dress sizes. From a 16 down to a 12.

You know you lost weight when
Oh that happened to me when I got pulled over for speeding. He looked at my license and said, "That is not you!" I just laughed. He had me show him before and after photos just to prove my identity. Then he asked me a whole bunch of questions. By the time we were done, he forgot to give me a ticket for speeding and had taken down my number ?. I was a smooth operator! P.S he is really cute and I have a date this Friday!!

United Health Care Insurance
I waited less than 2 weeks to get an answer. They had submitted my paperwork the same day. I believe I was approved on the 10th day of waiting. My surgery was scheduled the same day I got approval.

Gained almost all my weight back
I am sorry for your loss. I wish all to be well. You can always go back to your prep-op diet and take the steps over again. I have heard from people in my support group that when they gain, they just reset and follow the pre-op diet for about 2 weeks and start at the solid food stage again. They said that it works for them. Also they cut carbs down a lot. You could also have gained the weight back from stress. Stress causes lack of sleep, lack of sleep causes the body to need energy, needing energy causes the body to feel hungry and feeling hungry causes you to eat more calories in a day then you are burning.

Vitamins....
I was advised to stay away from them. I was told that ingesting vitamins was the best way to ensure that you are receiving the minerals needed.

Is it dumping? TMI...Sorry
It sounds like dumping to me. However, it is also your body rejecting the food. I have tried fried chicken once and I stress on the once. It does not sit in my sleeve well neither. I had the same symptoms as you with the foamy feeling in my throat and a severe cramping pain. It literally put me to sleep and when I woke up everything was fine. I believe that it is the type of oil (being that I can eat olive oil and coconut without a problem).

How much are you able to eat?
I am over 3 months out and I can only eat 2 - 3 oz depending on the protein. Fish and turkey (3oz) but chicken (2oz). Vegetables as snacks (3oz).

3rd day preop diet and i feel...
This is normal. Your body depended on large amounts of food, calories and carbs to receive it's energy. You have essentially cut all of that down by a lot. Remember that carbs are were we get most of our energy. Your body is slowly changing to a more Ketosis state in which it will burn fat for energy. The first 3 - 5 days can be tough. Just make sure you are getting in enough liquids and protein. Everyone feels this change the first week of pre-op.

Dizzy and tired
I was in the same boat the first 2 weeks. I could not drink my shakes and depending solely on water, Gatorade and protein shots. What stage are you at currently? Everyone stages are different the weeks following surgery. Just let me know and also what foods are you trying? I may have some ideas that you can try.

3 weeks to the day, and feeling HUGE REGRETS!
I felt normal about 6 weeks out. Each week got better. It was slowly changing. My energy was slowly increasing but it was getting there. Now I feel normal most of the time. I have days were I am out of it or extremely exhausted. I just try to relax and do as much as I can.

Suggestions and Help
I am over 3 months out. So my schedule is different and I do Keto Diet for myself. My day consist of the following: Breakfast - Shake or 2 egg Whites (boiled or scrambled) with 2 pieces of turkey bacon. Or a lettuce BLT wrap (turkey bacon of course and lite mayo). Snack 1 - Turkey Salad (Romaine Lettuce, 2 oz of turkey and Slice Tomato). I also make my own salad dressing. Lunch - Stuffed green Bell pepper or diced chicken with guacamole, mozzarella cheese and some sour cream. Snack 2 - Protein Bar Dinner - Whatever was left over from Lunch lol. Snack 3 - 14 Olives and 1 pickle. I love my Olives and Pickles. My suggestion is try Pinterest. Type in "Low Carb or Keto Diet Recipes". You will find a lot of interesting recipes to try. I hope this helps. This is just a limited list. Each week is different.

Making sure I'm making the right choice
Before you make this decision, ask yourself these 5 questions. This is what I asked myself before I made the decision: 1) Have I truly tried everything (before WLS) to lose weight? 2) Am I considering this surgery because I think it is the easy way out? 3) Am I willing to sacrifice my current lifestyle for a better one? 4) Can I accept the pain/consequences that come with this surgery? 5) Will this truly better my life in the long run? These questions helped me make this decision. I was ready and willing. My only regret is not of knowing or doing it sooner.

I have an event the day after surgery- will I feel up to going?
As long has someone else will be driving then the answer is yes. I went to Home Depot, Target, Walmart, BJ's and Petsmart within 30 minutes of being released. Granted I was uncomfortable and rode around in the scooters but I would say yes. Just make sure someone else is driving. You may still feel a little out of it due to all the pain killers they provide you with.

Struggling to exercise
You may not be eating enough. You should be having 4-6 small meals a day. (Honestly, some days I do not eat because I am not hungry). However, you may not be getting in enough protein. If you are dead set on working out, try C4 - Pre-workout. I drink 1 scoop 30 minutes before a workout (only when I am not feeling in the mood to workout). That thing gives me energy all day

Hospital stay
Most insurances deny the hospital stays longer than one night because it is usually not necessary. I stayed over night and went home the next morning. They will only approve it if there maybe a chance of high complications (ex. If you weigh more than 400 - 500lbs or slight heart problems). However, if complications where to occur after your surgery then they would cover it. However, they will not approve something they do not deem necessary. I hope this helps.

Struggling with the sleeve...normal?
It is normal. The air bubbles especially. I would get them every time I ate or drank something in the first 2 weeks. You may also feel a foamy mouth when you first start eating. Also, I have foamy mouth when I eat one bite too many. I did not have diarrhea. I was constipated most of the time. I do get it now if I eat something that does not agree with my sleeve (I tried red meat recently - omg I felt like I was dying). If your really feeling like something is wrong then reach out to your Surgeon. Only you know your body and if something is off, you will know and feel it.

3 weeks to the day, and feeling HUGE REGRETS!
This is normal. You have buyers remorse. You regret the decision you made because you do not feel the instant gratification you thought you would feel. The first few weeks are the hardest. Nothing comes easy and this is the hardest part of the journey you will have. I made a YouTube video in which I talked about the depression that I was feeling. Honestly, it gets better. A lot better. It just takes time. Your feeling towards food is due to your fear that it will make you sick or that you think eating will make you gain weight. I felt both those emotions. Just know you need to eat, it is essential. Do not fear food. You will only be trading in one extreme for another. The goal is to gain a healthy relationship with food. I used to live to eat. Now I eat to live. I look at food as what nutrition can I get from it. I make all kinds of recipes of my favorite foods, just low carb and calorie options. It does get better. It just takes time.
