I don't know if this the time, but I'd consider legal advice - I think you health care team have been negligent and you may have some comeback for all the stress and illness the unnecessary surgery has caused. I suggest you find a lawyer specialising in medical negligence to explore if you have a case. All the best. Sending hugs.

I got nervous the day before my surgery date 2 years ago. And backed out last minute at the hospital. I wasnt ready mentally and didnt tell myself I really need this. I was afraid of change. Now 2 years later Im set for surgery once again on the 27th of February. Im not backing out this time. I want to live longer and more healthy, I know Im teetering on 300lbs now but in the future can easily go up to 350-400lbs given my genetics. Why fight my genetics any more?
Being nervous of change is normal. This time around I did way more research and asked around more. The common answer I got was "it was the greatest decision I ever made"....Followed by "I wish I did it 10 years ago."

I just got the call I was approved for surgery on March 16th. Anyways up to this point I was excited for surgery but now all I feel is nervous and scared. Has anyone felt that way before ?
