The program I was you couldn't gain weight. I lost 40 lb before the surgery from 1st appt till surgery. Doctor was fine with it felt I was deloping the proper eating habits I needed for the surgery to be successful. People who knew me certainty had their own opinion that if I can lose 40 lbs without the surgery i don't need it. Thank goodness I didn't listen to them. HW 290 SW 250 CW 184. I had gastric sleeve surgery in April 2017, Its been 5 months and I have embarrassing gas, can just be walking anywhere and have to fart, work,I'm shopping ect.. have tried gas x , tums ect with no results, it's not painful just embarrassing. Congratulations on losing weight on ur own , I started the program June 2016 290 lbs I was in the program for 9 months before I had my surgery during which time I had to see a nutritionist often record everything I are and drank and what time ect, by the time it came to surgery I had already lost 50 lbs, many people told me u don't need the surgery u can do this on your own, I decided to have the surgery and use all the tools I learnt in the last year and have list an additional 53 lbs . I use the nutritionist advice , stick to my goals have changed my eating habits . I'm scared if I didn't I would slowly creep back into old habits . And the weight would come back . I find different styles sometimes means different size. I started out 290 lbs size 24w, 3x and am now 190 and fit 18, and xlarge, went to buy nursing Uniform for work and was size large. I'm 5'5. It's just a blessing not to shop in the plus size section, even bras went from 48DD to 44DD and we won't even get into underwear sizes, which was a trial and error with sizes.
