I have friends who have had surgery and they told me i prob won't ever be able to eat pizza or bread like things again as they are tough to get down . Don't beat yourself up ! Just follow 90 percent and indulge 10 percent . If that was the 10 percent then your fine

  7. I had my surgery postponed due to a hysterectomy back in January but only ended up losing ten days . So they might just push it back a little . I'll be 8 weeks between surgeries
  8. I already gave up caffeine coffee tea weeks ago and gave up seltzer which I lived on . Just have few bottles left and was wondering if I could have . I find the zero calorie waters like Vitamin Water and propel so sweet .

  12. I'm wondering the same thing . I hope someone answers .my dr never mentioned it
  13. Why would you have to inject yourself ?
  14. I'm not emotional but short tempered and hangry . I'm on day 2 when is your surgery ?
  15. I m on the insurance covered Vitamin plan and they ship to my house. I already started taking and surgery isn't scheduled till March 2. I hate the chewables. They are too sweet. When can I have them send me the regular kind that I can just swallow. a few months?
  16. Wow Amazing ! When you lost the 30 lbs did you ever think of not doing the sleeve ?
  17. I'm March 2. Started pre op diet today! Still haven't got my insurance authorization but hoping its a go!
  18. Day 1 and I'm a little hangry but one day closer ! As I came running in from work to get in my comfy pjs I realize that I can't wait to not just want to run home and put my pjs on! I can't wait to have the energy everyone talks about . When does the energy come I wonder .Today eating approximately 1000 calories w e trembly low carbs I'm not feeling energetic at all. I'm just wondering if post op you are eating even less , where does the energy come from ?
  19. @shawnak911 What do you mean by with the sleeve they go back to constantly dieting? Isn't it the same with the bypass?
  20. I know seltzer isn't allowed post op but can I have it on liquid pre-op? I'm day 1 and struggling and the carbonation usually fills me.
  21. My nutritionist gave me a very detailed list of what I can eat the two weeks pre op. It consists basically of five meals a day and you pick something from each column until you have had your five meals. Two columns are basically shakes one column is specific Protein bar and I ther column is 4 oz lean protein and veggies . The list is very specific on brand and quantity allowed . The same with post op up till day 50 only specific foods for each stage ie liquid, soft food mushy foods etc . Only eat what is listed nothing else
