i have just finished this book and found it a great resource. I got it on audible and listened to it in the car, waiting for the kids etc. It helped me with my preparations and it has some great checklists and resources.

Well done, keep it up, it is totally worth it.

Today was day 1 pre-op for me and it was ok. I was surprised that it can be difficult to meet the Protein quota and I was also very surprised by the calories in everything, I mean EVERYTHING! I started tracking today too. I got my 10000 steps today but that was because I swam for 29 minutes. Overall feeling ok if I don't think about food

Who has started their Pre-Op diets? What do you drink / eat in a day? How are you feeling? I start pre-op tomorrow. My Dr has not requested it however I have decided to go ahead and do it so that I can go through the "withdraws" which I know I will have from past efforts and get that yuk stuff our before I also have post -op pain to worry about. Is anyone else using the Baritastic App?

Ok so don't laugh but I purchased a box of surgical masks at the pharmacy this week to wear in the week before. I have had a cold and cough and when I saw the anaesthesiologist he said, "get rid of the cough or be sure I will send you home" OMG. So I am reducing the amount of time spent out and about and wearing the masks at home because my kids are constantly bringing home germs from school, lol. Best of luck. Rest up.

very inspiring, what has been key in making sure you keep losing?

I have never weighed a single food in my life and I wonder about my ability to keep to it. Then I saw your post , your comment, and yours stats. Congrats and thank you for being the example I need to follow.
