Surgery on Tuesday & horrible cold !

Getting kind of nervous surgery is scheduled for 1/31 have a horrible head cold ! Congestion & coughing Dr said it will be fine but so worried about coughing after surgery & not being able to breathe while already uncomfortable!!

    Ok so don't laugh but I purchased a box of surgical masks at the pharmacy this week to wear in the week before. I have had a cold and cough and when I saw the anaesthesiologist he said, "get rid of the cough or be sure I will send you home" OMG. So I am reducing the amount of time spent out and about and wearing the masks at home because my kids are constantly bringing home germs from school, lol. Best of luck. Rest up.
