  1. Surgery was 1/24 had gastric bypass so far I've lost 30 pounds, but like others have said every one is different I started at 301 pound now 271
  2. I'm wrong or I've been cheating myself, I'm 3 weeks and 5 days post op and At this stage I was told to eat 3, 1/2 oz means a day

  5. So how much is to much sugar to eat in a day, I has the gastric bypass 2 weeks post op, been eating yogurt, one has 7 gram and one has 6 grams I eat on snack to help get my Protein in, is that to many sugars in one day? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I had gastric bypass and was really expecting it to be more painful I guess I was lucky, really haven't had much pain at all, but I know it gets better with time, I had more pain with I had the lapband years ago Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Hi I'm 4 days post out and just can't get 60 oz down in a day so far I'm not sick are anything from it but I know if it continues it will probaly make me really sick, I mean I sip all day if I'm not sleep I'm sipping and walking around, I feel good just kind of nervous and don't want to get dehydrated, any suggestions? I have the same story, banded in 2012 had to have it removed in 2014 because of horrible acid reflux, so in 2016i got on my boyfriends insurance started my 6 months progress and dang he lost his job, so no ins to cover it, kelp doing the 6 months finished it and prayed the new job he got would cover it so he finally get a job and bang it covers it so his insurance started in dec 2016, and I had to do at his point was to submit my Paper work cause I had already completed it in August 2016, so excited my surgery is scheduled for Jan 24 getting the gastric bypass, sooooo excited and ready good luck on your upcoming surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm so excited my surgery is Jan 24th I am getting the gastric bypass, I had the lap band in 2012 and did pretty good lost 100 pounds kelp it off until I had to have my band removed in 2014 because of severe acid reflux, so it's now 3 years after and I have gained on my weight back plus some, finally got approved for revision from band to gastric bypass, I am so ready for my new life changes, will be posting my journey as it goes, I love this site it helps a lot with questions I've had and know I will have so many more, good luck to everyone having are have had weight lost surgery, we deserve to live healthy and feel good about ourselves!!
