  1. Thank you. I am doing the best I can. We are both exhausted. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. Thank you for thinking of us. I am hoping she feels better soon. I think we were naive about the surgery and the recovery time. Plus, our three year old daughter jumped on my wife when she was sleeping. She literally jumped on her stomach. I feel bad for my wife and I am scared now. I don't know if I can handle the surgery. However, I don't want to be super morbidly obese the rest of my life either. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Hi All, Just wanted to provide an update. My wife was sleeved yesterday and she is in a lot of pain. We were not mentally prepared for how much pain she would be in. She has had two C sections, gall bladder removed, appendix removed and hiatal hernia repair and handled those like a champ. After sleeve surgery she is miserable. She is having buyers remorse. I am scared as my surgery is in August. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Looks like it would be very painful. Thank you for sharing. Hopefully you feel much better now. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

  8. I am glad you are getting help. I suffer from depression myself and have been hospitalized for it. I actually had to get ECT during one of my hospital stays. Electro Convulsive Therapy, it is shock therapy used to treat depression. I have not been sleeved yet, and I am scared as to how I will be mentally after surgery. Being hospitalized is not fun, but it is the safest place for you right now. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. You look great. Definitely a very noticeable difference. Don't be too hard on yourself. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

  12. No, don't say anything about your weight. That will make you look insecure. He must be attracted to you or he wouldn't be meeting you for coffee right? It is up to you if you tell him about WLS. I would probably not bring that up on a first date. If it develops into something more, then you will probably need to tell him. Just see how it goes. I find it is best to not "over share" information. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Lol, that happened to me too back in 2004. It was humiliating. I have since put on 100 pounds since then. My turning point is that I don't want to die. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. HIPPA violation. No one can access your medical records but you. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  15. So, what will you end up owing out of pocket? Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. My surgery should be in late July or early August. I am stoked to get it done. So sick of being this big. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. That's awesome. Gives me hope. I want to be able to shop at regular stores again. I am tired of having to buy from big and tall stores. They gouge you so bad, because they know you don't have another choice. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. No way dude. That can't be real. It's grossing me out. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

  23. Excellent post, and you haven't even had the surgery yet? Is that correct? I really like what you had to say. My surgery will be in July or possibly August. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Yep, I agree. I stand alot at work and my feet can't handle it. Human bodies were not meant to support my current weight. My feet cannot handle 420 pounds. I feel like a bone may have actually fractured [emoji22][emoji22][emoji22][emoji22] Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app
