not feeling full?
I am 11 days post op and feel the same way. I am always hungry, I never feel full. I have stepped up my water in take and still hungry. This is much harder than I expected it to be. The scale is not dropping either, which pisses me off. I find myself thinking why did I get my stomach cut out, and am starving myself just to not see any results. I am sure this is normal as my wife had the same thoughts and emotions around this time after her surgery. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

*Sex*
Ha ha ha. Poor old dude. I can relate, I used up all my sex drive in my early twenties. I could perform at the drop of a hat. Now I need a blue pill, sad times. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

Absolutely Terrified of my impending procedure this Tuesday
Everything is going to be fine. It is normal to be scared. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, I was scared going into surgery. Everything went fine. Ask the Anesthesiologist to give you something in your IV to relax before being put under. Surgery is going to be the easy part, all you have to do is show up. Adjusting to life after surgery is when the hard part starts. I am 38 years old, 6 foot 1 and was 400 pounds on day of surgery. Had no issues. I had gastric sleeve not bypass. Good luck. My sleeve is too big
Thank you for the kind and wise words. I haven't had a chance to talk to my surgeon yet, I was too out of it after surgery and he spoke with my wife. The next day for the drain pull, I had my drain removed by his partner as my surgeon was in surgery. I see my surgeon one week from tomorrow and I want to hear what he says about my procedure, my stomach size before sleeve, and the size now that I am sleeved. My protein intake hasn't been great. I am sick of protein shakes. I think I need to up my protein, drink more water, and stop drinking so many calories. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

My sleeve is too big
I see my surgeon one week from tomorrow. I would like to see what he has to say. If it is too big, there is no way to make it smaller now. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

My sleeve is too big
I am over-eating because I am starving and a food addict. It is nice to know that dense food will fill me up more. I think I am going to stop buying the Greek yogurt. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

My sleeve is too big
I can eat three Greek yogurts in one sitting. I ate a large can of Campbell's tomatoe soup no problem. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

My sleeve is too big
How would I know if my sleeve is too big? I feel like I am able to take in too much. I feel like my sleeve is able to hold more than my wife's and we were sleeved by the same surgeon. He said he uses the same device to measure the sleeve. He also told my wife after surgery that he had to do a lot of cutting on me as I had a huge stomach. I also suffer from OCD and maybe I am just creating unneeded stress for myself. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

Calories
What about string cheese? Once I can have soft foods, is that a bad choice? And trail mix, minus the candy parts? Just the nuts and raisins, no M and M? Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

Calories
Good points. It is just that I never feel full during this full liquid phase. So, I have been consuming too much of these things. I hope once I can move on to dense proteins, chicken breasts and lean meats I will feel satisfied. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

Surgery Update
The reality of losing my drug of choice is setting in. Food was my last drug I could abuse. I gave up alcohol and drugs nearly 10 years ago, been sober ever since. Food was something I could abuse and now it is gone. It is a Friday evening, I worked a few rough days at work and I want my normal escape. I want pizza and wings and video games. Those days are gone and it is hitting me hard. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

I don't know if I am making the right decision
I was just sleeved 8 days ago, it has been hard but I have no regrets yet. Your friend that is afraid of losing you as a drinking buddy doesn't sound like a very good friend. I am surprised your parents don't support you, would they rather see you unhappy and obese? It basically comes down to what you want to do. Don't let other people's selfish reasons deter you from getting it.
