Today is my 7 week anniversary of my surgery. I had a sleeve done on August 1st. I went to the gym this morning and when I got back I was hungry...so I scrambled one egg with a slice of american cheese (.6ounce) and half of a Tomato from my garden. I diced it up and threw it in there. When it was done cooking I weighed it and it was 4 ounces in total. I ate it and I didn't feel full. I'm satisfied and will eat again about 6:00 or so for dinner.
My question is this. Am I eating too much food? Is 4 ounces at one time too much? Is one egg and a bit of cheese and tomato over doing it? As I read back over the info my nut gave me it says I should try 1-2 ounces of food per meal. At first that was fine, but now I feel like it's not enough. Am I sabotaging myself? I would love some input as to what others are eating and what an acceptable meal would be. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to respond.

If you never really gained weight in your books you can probably keep them.
My breasts are the same size for the most part just my band shrunk.
I never gained weight in breasts they were always large, but they never got proportionately larger as I gained weight.
    I went from a 50dd to a 36G.

I don't have much light to shed besides the fact Ive been at a stall for last two to three weeks fluctuating 3 lbs. Sleeved 2/17

Researched it a bit and after talking to my doctor, I'm reading and being told I need to up my calories. I'm at about 600cal a day. Thinking if adding avocado since the pack in the calories. Also been on menstrual for 3 weeks!! And horrible acne!! Dr informed me that we have estrogen in our fat cells and when we lose quickly, we have surplus of estrogen causing these things..as for the stalls, I really think it's our bodies trying to defy logic!

So I made the first step today and called the surgeon's office. My insurance officially takes over January 1st of next year so I have a little bit of waiting time to go but they said I could fill out the paperwork. The woman who helped me was really nice and I'm really excited.

She said with my BMI I did not have to do the weight loss program but I do have to do the psychiatric evaluation.

I've heard some people say that they go back to work within one week but are not supposed to lift more than 10 pounds. I'm a teacher preschool and I'm wondering how long did it take or how long did they say for it take before you could go back to work? Has your doctor is giving you any advice of when you should go back?

I think you're right, especially those who don't follow up on the bloodwork with their GPs. Blood work is what wasn't mentioned by my surgical team.

Also, a lot of people think that because VSG isn't malabsorptive, Vitamin deficiencies aren't an issue while forgetting that some vitamins need to spend time in the stomach to start breaking down with the stomach acids, which affects how much your body can actually extract (calcium is one of those, I think?)

Its too easy to forget that less food = fewer nutrients. And lots of people going the ketogenic route are virtually eliminating whole categories of nutrient-bearing foods.
