    A quick google search gave me this program, where you don't need a lot of machines, but your gym should have what you need.

    OMG! Wow, thank you so much. I have never known about oral fixation, but it makes so much sense, and it explains so much, so much.
    Here are some examples
    I keep a cherry stone in my mouth for hours, playing with it.
    When I cut of tags of new clothes, I'll put the plastic thing in my mouth and play with it for a long time
    I chew on headphones cables
    I put everything in my mouth. I don't suck on candy, chew it. I chew soft candy, hard candy. There has to be something going on other than sucking. (it sounds so pervy lol)
    I most definitely need to find other solutions to this But just knowing there is a name for it, that it actually is something.

    Honestly, food. You need to get more food in you. Something muschy. Try mashed potatoes, Soups, something that will give you energy. With your weight being so low already, drinking only shakes and Water at this stage is too little.

    I have only told 2 family members, my mom and my aunt, my dad doesn't even know. I find it easier to tell strangers than it is to tell my own family.
    They shouldn't judge you or be against you taking care of your health.
    Wait until you have a date, until you start liquid diet, which I assume you have to be on, I didn't, but in the US, everyone does. It will give you more time, but also more information from your doctors etc. to inform them why this is something you want to do.

    @Midnightsun but that is different from what you first said. That they told you that it's only the liquid Protein that counts towards your protein count. And that is just not true.
    That yes, we might absorbe liquid protein (first I have ever heared that though) easier in the beginning, sure, It's easier to get down than food, but all protein counts. I still drink a shake every singel day, and I'm 2.5 years post op. It is to make sure I get the 120-150g of protein that my body needs. The food I eat, counts equally to the shake. It's not like you push a button when you reach goal, that suddenly turns the absortion from food on. It's there all the time. In the beginning you just get more protein from liquids because it's easier to get down.
    And especially for Gastric bypass, they have discovered that the malabsortion is less than they thought in the beginning.

    There is no shame on her, I'm sorry, but because it goes against what everyone else has heard, it sounds like a made up rule.
    Now replacing a meal with shakes it's different. And no I don't care what your nutritionist said, it's not the Protein Shakes that drives the weight loss, it's the calorie deficit you are in. Protein helps you feel full and retain some muscles, but it doesn't drive the weight loss.
    Follow your doctor, but question things that goes against every other doctor.
    I have lost over 100lbs and I started food 4 days after surgery. Food and shakes to get enough protein. I still drink a shake a day, but as a supplement to get enough, which is 120-150g a day. I drink it on top of all my meals.

    Here is a before picture of my egg bites. There is no after as I eat the two on my plate with some salsa. So yummy.
    Only eggs, bacon bites, feta cheese and a mix of some cheese I needed to use.

    Yes, it is. It was the first time I tried them, so easy, so yummy. Black friday should have some amazing instant pot deals. Also, btw, It's instant pot, not instapot 😉 Although most people in the US thinks the brand name is Instapot.

    I had a GREAT bike ride today - the best ever! My 50 mile "race" is coming up on Saturday, and today was the last chance for me to tweak my Fluid and nutrition for the event. I think I finally found the magic bullet - at least for me. I started hydrating well the day before and early this morning. Then I ate a big bowl of cooked whole grain Cereal with soy milk. Instead of plain Water, I used a drink called BodyArmor (70 calories, 18 carbs, with electrolytes) - about 75% with 25% water in my drink bottles. I also changed my food bars from RX bars to plant based Think Thin bars (230 cal, 28 carbs, 13 protein.) I felt great and was not starving and craving salt afterward. I had my best mph time and at one point I felt like I could have gone 100 miles - like my legs were machines! Ha! Ha! Anyway, I have also really stuck with plant based whole foods this week - no animal Protein at all, and this may also have helped, as the research does indicate that blood vessels are more open and there is better circulation to the muscles when animal Proteins are eliminated.
    So that's my story and I'm sticking with it - at least until after the race on Saturday. Then we'll probably go out for Mexican food ! (Topopo salad for me with black Beans instead of chicken. ) I am soooo happy to have found a formula that seems to work.

    @GreenTealael and it has no startches or any of the other stuff they put in.
    So easy to make with those moldes. And you can put anything in them.
