I use the Vitamin Patch. Best thing ever. I couldn't get all those pills in daily

That is so strange.. I am post 6 weeks and can barely eat 4 bites of anything.. As for drinking water!.. loved Water prior to surgery.. can't stand it now because it taste like lead. Do I get hungry... YES.. but am basically living on oatmeal.. soups.. eggs.. some fruit and Snapple Peach Diet.. I can't tolerate anything else. I am down 47 pds. So I can't imagine what is going on with your sleeve.. but don't get discouraged.... stay focused.
I didn't know we could drink diet Snapple. I'm so tired of water being longing for something else. Tks

I think you are lucky! I am a private person and not planning to tell anyone but my parents and husband about WLS. I have mentioned eating better to friends and co workers, so they aren't shocked and have lost weight pre surgery- but I really REALLY don't want people to say things like "whoa you really lost weight, or how did you do it etc" it makes me super uncomfortable to talk about weight with people. I loath the idea of my aunts or other relatives bringing this up at family events...
Same here

I'm keeping mine a secret except for close family and my boss and I told them to keep it a secret. Except my husband has a big mouth and told another parent ughhhh. People can be so judgmental I don't have time for it. My bff was prior to surgery so we don't discuss it. Some have notice my weight loss, I just told them I had to change eating habits do to hiatal hernia surgery.

My MD prescribed Actigall for me after surgery. I have to take it for about 9 months to help prevent gallbladder problems

I haven't had anything that I'm not supposed to. I can barely get the required food down. Plus I'm afraid it will make me sick.

I had hiatal hernia surgery with my sleeve. I had horrible reflux prior to surgery but no problem with it since. I am 6 wks post op. My MD has me taking Prilosec for six months.

Sometimes I get them when I haven't eaten in a while and feeling hungry

Is there such a thing. It 10pm and I realize that I still need about 40 grams of Protein. I can't possible bring myself to eat or drink anything else. I wish there was an easier way to get it all in. My stomach just can't hold it all some days.

I've never heard of a hiatal hernia. Is that similar to GERD? I can google it when I get to work... LOL! So glad you are doing well. [emoji847]
Hiatal hernia is what usually causes GERD. Hiatal hernia surgery repairs it.

I had hiatal hernia surgery at the same time as my sleeve. Haven't had problems since

How much have you lost so far? I'm just wondering how much the exercise makes a difference with how fast you lose weight.
