My surgeon did a Hiatal Hernia repair along with my sleeve. All his patients get that if needed

So sorry I hope she fully recovers . I wouldn't even consider converting the bypass to sleeve at this point. To many risk. Plus she's lost so much weight with the disease . Just focus on her staying healthy. Prayers

After WLS we waited a week. Now im recovering from skin surgery, he has asked me to wait longer (I SO would lol). He's just scared he will hurt me, bless him.

I was told to wait 2 weeks. I was off of my birth control. We made it one week. We used added protection. I also had still in a little pain so we just tried a way where I didn't have to move much or have any pressure on me.

Thats a long time to be there. Why so long?I had my appt today ( I was there 11 hours ughh) my surgery is schedule for next Thursday 1/25. I start prebop diet and Vitamins immediately

I think the doctor went to the hospital or something it was crazy. We had group sessions all morning then after lunch waited hours to see the md individually to schedule.

Cell phone charger, robe, socks, extra out fit ( and undies) to wear home. I ended up staying an extra day in the hospital. Soap , face wash, lotion, lip balm, deodorant tooth paste, hair brush and my own Protein shakes per my MD in case I didn't like the ones provided by the hospital. I took makeup because I always feel better when I make up my face and do my hair. I did that for the ride home.

Had very bad chest pain on waking up from surgery. Still having a lot of abdominal pain 4 days post op taking pain meds every 6 hrs. I wasn't prepared for the pain. Can't find a comfortable way to sleep. I know it's gets better tho.

My insurance said you have to be below or at the same weight at the end of the six months. ( not more) I was only 3 pounds different and was approved.

I had leak test and then a barium swallow the next day. I was in the hospital for 2 days

I woke up from surgery with the worst chest pain. Thought I was dying. That on top of the abdominal pain. Chest pain eases up the next day still having a little. This abdominal pain is still throwing me for a loop and I have a high pain tolerance. Surgery 1-26-17.

Surgery on 1-26. When does the pain go away? I can't lie down I sleep propped up on the couch. Still can't get this breathing to 2000. 1000-1200 is as far as I can go.

My MD said I may have to have Iron infusions in the hospital after surgery. My surgery is next Thursday

I am 9 days pre op and have a horrible
Cold. Body aches coughing etc etc
Is there anything I can do? I was told no Tylenol, Ibuprofen etc. any home
Remedies that don't involve alcohol or sugar/ Syrup

My doctor tells his patients absolutely no genpro. He says he's done studies and patients that use it don't lose the weight. Iv never tried it so I don't know. They tried selling it to me at GNC but I wouldn't buy it.
