Hey, im 4 months out and i can relate. Theres days when im on overdrive that im famished and want to eat a horse. Takes alot to stick to my diet. I drink the premier protein shakes from bjs/costco. 30g protein each whenever that happens n it helps curb my appetite a bit. Good luck. Dont beat urself up too bad. I can honestly say i had my doritos breakdown day also. The guilt trip made me work twice as hard the week after and now i carry small foods n snacks with me so i dont do it again. Important thing is to learn from it. The sleeve helps but the brain is the one thay requires the most work. Good luck. Walking down the street as usual with my earphones on ( u know, the fat blockers .. to fake like u didnt hear the fat commentaries ). Instead i walk past a really cute guy, much younger than me and i hear, hey beautiful. Of course, its not to me, my fat brain says. So i casually look over my shoulder to see who he's talking to.... wait a minute, holy crap, there's nobody behind me, wth, is he talking to me, huh??? So he must've seen the dumbfounded look on my face and says... you look beautiful in that dress. Awww, I smile, say thank u, wave and move on. Lol. Lol. It gets better. Im approaching 4 mos post op and my heater is finally starting to work better and i can stop wearing thermals. I too was freezing all day n night. To make matters worse my partner at work has menopause so she was always hot... just imagine 4 hrs in a car 5 days a week of that, lmbo. Omg was horrible. Its been a really long time since i was happy to take photos. I took a photo last wk and OMG, i look cute, omg looks like the old me, yaaay omg no double chin. So i spent the whole wknd out with freinds completing me on how great i look and taking photos [emoji2]. For some time i was really annoyed with my sister, paparazzi wannabe who never filters and her damn facebook. Always had me looking like a cow that got hit by a truck. It got so bad i was hiding from the cameras and declining invites because of my weight. Thank u DrN for my surgery. Im so happy. Its working, i feel great and i wanted to share it with my fellow sleevers. First few months were hard but ive turned the corner 2 happyland [emoji38]. Hope every1 else is doing good. No judgement here. It's a slippery slope. Give urself time, in a few wks the smell will turn ur stomach. Find something to do that u can track like climbing 5 flights everytime u get the urge and ur about to smoke. Ive smoked on/off for 20yrs n i quit 11/2016 in prep 4 surgery 1/6. Wont lie. Ive had 5 cig in last mo to calm me from choking out someone harrassing me but i snapped out of it n punish myself w the dang stairs now.
