I can't speak for myself but my girlfriend had excess skin and they wouldn't do anything for her as it was considered COSMETIC but because it was rubbing she complained of odor and skin was very irritated from rubbing and that's how she got her excess skin taken off. First let me be the first to say that's not a stupid question at all. That's actually a very good question. I wondered about the same thing. I'm sorry that I am unable to answer your questions as I have my surgery next Friday. Hopefully someone that's been thru this will and will enlighten both of us. Love it littlebill!!! Exactly! When I was watching it I was hoping there wasn't somewhere out there thinking of WLS and then heard that and changed their mind. It is definitely frustrating the stigma WLS has, I don't see why it is a problem someone wants to get healthy. We as a society should be commending them and encouraging about it. We're so Obesed as Americans and there is a way to fix that, but because of the stigma around surgery we figure surgery isn't a viable option when in fact it is!
