I am here again after so long. I am currently up to almost what I had started with with my weight. I am at 310lbs because I really can't afford out of pocket expenses right now to get my fill. I was actually suppose to go back to get my fill and port fixed. Oh...my port was flipped somehow so I have to arranged to get it fixed. So the actual instructions were for me to go back in August 2010 and I still haven't gone back. Now I am depressed but I try to be positive some days and work...

Hi Jax, my name is Christine and I just wanted to know...exactly what or how did you get to your goal wait? I had lost 25 pounds and went back to get a fill and its very very dificult to keep on with the diet. any suggestions? Well this is my second time on here. I really think it's great that we could all encourage each other in different areas. I had my band put on in august of 07 in Tijuana, MX. My doctor was Dr. Gabriel Guttierrez. Before I had my band put on I was a size 24 and after a month and a half I went down to size 18. I was very happy and thought that I didn't need a fill. I gained about 15 pounds back becuase I didn't follow the diet plan for the first three months. I kept eating constantly. I was very bad that even though I felt full I still kept eating. But now I got my first fill and I am more excited now becuase I have a personal trainer setup for me when I get back home. And I know that this time it will be what we all expect. Great results. I regret that I didn't come to do it sooner when I was suppose to. So pretty soon I'll put some new photos to encourage anyone who would like to get the band, go ahead do it. you won't regret it. It'll be forever. I did mine not so much to lose the weight but for my health. So check out my great doctor on his website www.obesitychoices.com
