    Sleeping on Stomach

I am the same way, tummy sleeper all the way. I was scared I won't be able to sleep on my back after surgery so I asked my surgeon and he said I can sleep on it right after surgery no problem. I slept one day on my side just because I felt safer doing that for at least one day. But after day 2 on I was sleeping on my stomach no problem. I took my time slowly turning on to my stomach to get ready for bed but I was just fine when I woke up etc. Sent from my Pixel XL using the BariatricPal App

  9. Hello and thank you for your reply. Wow! You don't even know how much this means to me . This is exactly what i wanted to achieve with my story. To get it out there to help anyone who might be struggling to either get help or someone who needed to come out and share their story or get help but couldn't or didn't have the guts or courage to do so. This makes me feel great hearing you tell me this. You can reach me at 910lbs@gmail if you ever wanted to talk further about anything. I'm so happy right now. Big congrats to you for coming out of your mold . Email again 910lbs@gmail.com Sent from my Pixel XL using the BariatricPal App
  10. For me it was 400 lbs loss , but my starting weight was 910 lbs. Yes, 910 lbs was my highest at the hospital check in. At 510 I rolled in to the or to finally have my surgery. I am now currently just under 470 lbs and all in just one year. Sent from my Pixel XL using the BariatricPal App
  11. Yes it is a great reason to have the surgery. The good thing is, that I have zero health issues and even when I was admitted to the hospital all I had was slightly elevated sugar levels. No high blood pressure then and not once high blood pressure in the year I have been here, and they check vital signs on me 3 times a day. Also my cholesterol levels were amazing and still are. Everything is great. They did put me on metformin pills against the sugar levels but that's just incase. My levels are usually 4.5 -5.5 in the morning and even at night before dinner im no higher than 6.5-7. no insulin at all. So I've been lucky. Sent from my Pixel XL using the BariatricPal App

  13. Thank you very much James I appreciate the kind words . As for the steroids, they are slowly weening me off them now to see how my body reacts and see if my platelets count drop as we go. So far so good, after today's blood work my platelet count is at 135 so it's not bad. They do blood work every morning to keep an eye on the count. Sent from my Pixel XL using the BariatricPal App
