@Newme17 I know how you feel. I use a rolling massage ball for my foot and ankle in the morning and before bed. I then stretch it while laying in bed. It seems to help loosen it up from a night of being inactive. You will get back into the routine. We all fall off at some point. The point is, to get back on track eventually.

@Newme17 Have you tried doing stretches to get your mobility up? My ankle always creeps up on me but I use an ankle brace on heavy leg days and cardio. I also stretch it out everyday before a workout. I do a lot of mobility stretching everyday. It helps a lot. I hope you are feeling better now.

Can you incorporate physical therapy into your routine? You have to heal in order to work out.

Newme17 reacted to Sleeve1stFitNext in It has been awhile since my last status update. Sorry. I have been busy with work and
@Newme17 Lol I hope so. I my goal is adding more weight to my workouts each week. I want to get progressively better and I do not want to get comfortable with my workouts.
We all have that phase when we do not want to go to the gym. We are either way too busy, tired or just burnt out. I usually take a 2 day break and then go back at it again.
I will post as a reminder but I do not think your slacking. I your tired. You have a lot to take care of and some times you need a break. Also, you are working out by doing the challenge. That still counts.

Thanks y’all. I’ve never thought of him as a “keeper”...it wouldn’t have crossed my mind whether to keep him or not. Hahaha. I’m just stuck with him, that’s all, but it’s a happy and blessed stuck that I’m very grateful for. Indeed, he’s a keeper. Ha!

Oh so much better now. I lost 17 pre-surgery, 14 post surgery and I am on a stand still, but trying not to be too discouraged...it can't last forever...especially as little as I am eating.

Thank you everyone. I used to put everything aside for my significant others and now I have not patience for it. I have been living in a shell of myself and as I slowly break out of it, I want more independence and I want to spend more time with myself. I want to buy nicer things. I now have pride in myself more than ever and I cannot bottle that up for anyone.

I think I have read some posts on here where people have said that if you have a day where you eat softer less dense foods your sleeve may seem smaller when you try to eat denser foods again. Maybe that is what is happening? I love my salads, but they are like slider food for me. I think this may be my problem because then if I try to eat some beans or a curry I get full after like 3-4 bites.

Amazing transformation!!
As women we tend to take care of others and always place our needs and wants last. That only works for so long and then we get to the point where we have nothing left to give. I am preaching to myself here as much as any one else.
You keep on loving yourself girl!!

Love yourself always....I'm constantly telling others to "take care of yourself before you take care of others." (mostly financial stuff with my family/friends), but anyway, it applies to all aspects of life-also preaching to myself LOL. For me, I placed myself on the back burner (still tend to do it) to my husband and kids. I "let myself go" for them. BUT, if I truly LOVED and CARED for myself, I would have taken much better care so I can be healthy for them! So, absolutely love yourself, then you can truly take care and love others just as much.
And in regards to the irrational ex bf....when you have such confidence with yourself, you will not put up with that mess. That's a great quality to have!

@Thejeweledsleeve Hey lady, thank you. I feel WAY better...I bought the B complex vitamins the same day I posted the status and took it right away (thanks @Introversion) and it seems to have gone away. I'm back to normal now, yay!
