thanks so much for the responses. are u currently doing the preop liquid diet? how long have u had lapband? does it work? dont be concerned-i was told about the post op diet but i am seeing so many other post op diets on here that differ from mine. i do need to find that post bc i love my long thick hair. keep im touch, i'd like to know how u r doing. u r so close! warm wishes! 2 wk liquid diet is sooooo hard for me. today i been sleeping most of the day away to keep my mind off food. i drink Isopure Protein shakes n pure protein. i miss not eating a nice sat am Breakfast. but im going to get past this. surgery 12/19 --- i think this whole process is mental. stay strong!!!! i drink pure Protein & love the banana cream. strawberry cream is too thick but ok. i also have Isopure. it is expensive, but a different texture than the pure protein & powder. it has 40g in 1 bttle. to me it just tastes like watered down gatorade. i like making the orange creamsicle shake. going to try root beer float shake tonight. bananashake-you are the BEST & very helpful. i tried the orange creamsicle, that wasnt bad. but the peppermint one tasted like a halls cough drop. maybe i just put too much peppermint in it, lol. im not a milk person, so ive been drinking Isopure, but they are expensive. kind of like watered down gatorade. i do have the cans of pure Protein shakes-strawberry cream is too strawberrish but the banana cream is actually good. did you mention when ur surgery is? i got 9 more days & counting. congrats on down the 5 lbs!
