  1. I have severe sleep apnea, and I was in a car wreck in 2001 and had to go into emergency operation(at the time didn't know I had the sleep apnea), but didn't come out of my anestesia, ended up on a ventilator...long story short I was scared to death to go back under also, but what I did was I took my sleep test results to my doctor and he required me to stay overnite for observation, and I also showed my sleep test results to the anestesiologist(spelled wrong)...and everything went fine....hope this helps and good luck....i was banded on 2/5/08, and everything is going great....
