When I was in the midst of getting myself emotionally prepared for my surgery I was asked to read 10 different books. I did and none of those books answered the questions that I really wanted to know. Things like, how will my life really change? How will I change? What can I expect from this surgery? I wanted to know how my world was going to change and in those 10 different books all I found was what could go wrong if you didn't follow this way of life to the letter. I spent a year blogging about what was going on for me at every appointment and the ups and downs of life in between. I was raw and vulnerable in all that I wrote about and it helped me to begin to slowly heal the emotional wounds of being obese in this day and age. I was changing even before having my surgery and was getting excited for what was to come after this life changing adventure I was about to take on. I have expanded my blog into an actual book that I know can help people answer these questions that you may have before, after and during this surgery. I take you on this journey with me and together we figure out how to become "Finally ME!"
