When I was in the midst of getting myself emotionally prepared for my surgery I was asked to read 10 different books. I did and none of those books answered the questions that I really wanted to know. Things like, how will my life really change? How will I change? What can I expect from this surgery? I wanted to know how my world was going to change and in those 10 different books all I found was what could go wrong if you didn't follow this way of life to the letter. I spent a year blogging about what was going on for me at every appointment and the ups and downs of life in between. I was raw and vulnerable in all that I wrote about and it helped me to begin to slowly heal the emotional wounds of being obese in this day and age. I was changing even before having my surgery and was getting excited for what was to come after this life changing adventure I was about to take on. I have expanded my blog into an actual book that I know can help people answer these questions that you may have before, after and during this surgery. I take you on this journey with me and together we figure out how to become "Finally ME!" Read a book from someone who has been on this road and from someone who wants to show you which potholes to avoid and which forks in the road have the best views. Let us do this together. If this is something that you are looking for then my book is available on Amazon "Finally Me! by Alicia Hill-Marceau.
