    Post Surgery Nausea

I am also 5 weeks post-op and concerned about this as well. I have some nausea once or twice a day. Is this normal? When does it stop? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Alcohol first time post-op

Thank you all for your advice. This post-op life certainly isn't easy. Glad I have a place to ask questions! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I am currently 4 weeks post-op and am thinking ahead about a Christmas party my husband and I are invited to. I know I won't be able to indulge in the appetizers, but what can I drink that won't bother me? I have usually been just a soda person but we know I can't do that! lol By the way, I only like wine and mixed drinks. Any advice, or is it just to early? 4. So happy for you and I needed to hear how great things are going for you. I'm only about 3 weeks out and don't feel to great yet and was wondering if I've done the right thing! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Dumping?

Literally a mouthful? Yikes! I would like to be able to have a rare occasional treat. But that scares me! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Hi Everyone! I'm new. I had my sleeve done on Nov. 9th. I've finally got to the point where it doesn't hurt to drink bigger than a sip but am not getting all my Water in yet. I drink water and Crystal Lite. I've always liked plain water just fine, but lately have been wishing there was something else. I'm picky; don't care for coffee or tea. I'm a recovering soda fiend. Lol I wish there was something I could drink that would take away the after tastes of all those vitamins! Does anyone have any ideas or am I just out of luck? 7. I was also on Cymbalta. My doctor changed my prescription to Effexor. She said it was in the same family but is a tad bit bigger than an M&M, which is my doctor's guide to use if you swallow your medicine. I have to cut it up in quarters though because I can taste halves going down! I tried to ween myself off after surgery because I just didn't want to have to swallow it. Ran into trouble right away! Vitamin Patches- Do they work?

That's promising. I like this idea but haven't heard a lot about how good they are. Do you find the Patches stay in place? How often do you have to put them on? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
