    Sodas

First of all, a sleeve is not a pouch. Second, carbonation does not stretch the sleeve. That's a myth. I drink carbonation and at over 2 years out, I have the same restriction I've had for a year. My surgeon and many others agree that a sleeve will not necessarily 'stretch'. And to the original question, no, you should not drink Coke, because Coke is filled with empty calories, which by far is worse than carbonation and the number one reason people regain. So there's that. Thanks...very important to know. I see many friends drink soda...manu many many Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
  3. The fact there's a few people who said this was a bad idea because it wouldn't last. I told them flat out that if I get 4 - 5 years of normalcy then it will be well worth the time. That's four or five years I won't have if I do nothing or change nothing and if it was so easy I would have done it a long time ago. Regardless this surgery is 90% head games. Unfortunately its the worst desicion i made cause im miserable and tierd all the time...pls maybe pray on it. As for me I already did it...so I have to just make the best put of it and thank the Lord that Im ok Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
  4. I dont know....i am off work and its been very hard. But I did this surgery so I could move more easily for my baby can have the same experiences my others did. Shes one and my others are 17, 16, 14 and 12. I was always at a park, beach , bowling...or even cooking...now its her turn...So I guess my point is I agree but Ill do what I have to till I see my doctor on the 12th. Thankfully all the kids hubby and part time nurse we hired are very supportive. I did drop 2 lbs a and after my bowel movement total loss of 3 lbs. Fitness pal says I should eat 1230 cal so Im confussed but till I get to 220 Im going to do what I have to. I find that I was eating loads more then others ...nothing makes me feel bad so...its up to me to eat s.aller portions maybe more frequently... but right now Im very happy that Im 1 lb away from 239 goal...then Im going for 229 goal. Then 220....tx for your consideration...???? Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App

  6. Well you might as well get use to it. You don't lose weight every day or even every week. You body is going to stall as it adjusts, and then you lose again. You are going to stall a lot in the process of getting to your goal weight. When you are stalled, make sure that you take your measurements. Also a pound is meaningless. I can weigh myself right now. Drink 16 ounces of Water and be up a pound in 3 minutes. Your body weight is going to fluctuate as you are losing depending on the contents of your body. You didn't say anything about if you are regular or when your last bowel movement was. If you can't take the stalls, then don't weight yourself as often. It helps. That is what my husband says....its just so much more motivating seeing the scale drop. Also worries me cause i had surgery 1 mnth ago. ..It scares me to feel so miserable atleast seeing makes me feel alot better. Today I ate 500 calories and walked 30 minutes in the morning in afternoon. I will do the same for a couple days then weigh myself i just want to see that scale at 239...that will make me happy. I hate that I had this surgery

Im so sorry Honestly i completely regret the surgery. I had a decision. My husband went with me to group and i started puree alittle sooner than my dic allowed...my doc was the only one w full liquid for 1 month. I WAS vomitting...I was crying hysterically etc I chewed some food and felt 60% better. ....now im messing w brain to get through this.i set small goals and look foward to new foods...like scrambled eggs. Riccotta. Cottage cheese etc....all approved. If not i do lite excersice or sleep....i drop a pound a day! Keep your mind off of it but eat and sip in Water soon youll feel alot better and when you look in mirror you will not feel so bad!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using the BariatricPal App
