  1. If it helps, through research and my medical friends bypass is the way to go. That is the most popular route. I wish you the best and sorry it’s been difficult
  2. Correct! I’ve never had reflux before. I don’t know what to do, trying to figure it out.
  3. Thank you! I’m happy it worked! Did you have a weak LES? GI said I do
  4. I’ve got the same issue and was given the option of Linx. Nobody has heard of it even my doctor friends and that makes me nervous. Plus I find nothing about Linx on a sleeve person.
  5. I’m in the same boat. I have LPR (silent refiux). I’ve have acid come out my nose, vomit and have aspirated it into bronchial tube. It’s everyday. One surgeon says hiatal hernia fix and another says hernia fix and Linx. I’m leaning toward just fixing hernia. Did it work from you?
  6. Interesting GradyCat. So strange how our primarys say it’s too much in these bariatric vitamins yet we are told we need more. Did you feel off?
  7. Were you super tired when it was high? I’ve been “sick” for 6 weeks and doctors couldn’t figure it out until I begged them to run a blood panel. All the kept doing was sending me for Covid tests, I had 3?. Primary said to stop taking iron and retest in 3 months. I’m hoping that I won’t be tired now once it’s out of my system. If I hadn’t pushed for that blood test I might have poisoned myself, I find it frustrating how little primary care docs know about the post sleeve person. Thanks for the info!
  8. I take a bariatric multi vitamin and have been taking the same brand since sleeve in 2017. I am very fatigued these days so went to my primary. My iron levels are dangerously high so my primary doc told me to stop taking iron supplements. Has anyone experienced this?

  10. It would be so great to be able to sleep without waking up several times choking on acid! It is so scary to wake up choking and then having cough attack! Thank you

  13. Can’t find anything called Gastric J, is this the right name?
  14. Thank you! Will check into it!

  16. I recently have been diagnosed with LPR. I wake up all night choking on acid. During the day I’m coughing and regurgitate. I’ve done all the recommendations like head propped up, no food 3 hours before bed, 80mg of omeprazole a day. It helps very little. Gastric surgeon says hiatal repair will fix and GI surgeon disagrees. Says I should do the Linx (not fda approved). Anyone else have this issue? I have gained some weight back, is that why this reflux is happening? Would it help to lose weight? Id love to be able to sleep through the night.
