I did not have any stalls until now. It’s been too easy to be honest. I eat when I’m hungry and stop when I’m full and don’t deny myself anything but do focus on getting Protein and fluids.
Dr. Kelly thinks I might lose another 10 pounds but I feel really good where I am right now

I had surgery 7/24 at UMass with Dr.Kelly. I met all requirements early but then was buying a house and other stressful things so I put it off for a couple months. I hit my goal weight of 160lbs the beginning of November and have been maintaining 155-160 since then. My surgeon has said I am a picture perfect post VSG patient. No vomiting, food issues, Hair loss etc.
    good luck!

Seeing as you have tufts I'm assuming you are in Mass?? Most programs here at 6 months. My surgery is next Friday and I had to go through a six month program that my insurance did not require at Boston Medical Center. My surgeons goal weight for me is 180( which happens to be mine also) although the BMI chart says I should be between 128-168(5'9). I had to lose 15lbs before approval. My friend in NYC lost her weight through a liquid diet before surgery . I would still look around because all surgeon are not created equal(he sounds uninformed...if u went to orientation and have been seing the nutritionist that should count) but all that I have looked up in Mass require 6 months of visits.

Thank You! This all gives me a bit of an idea of what to expect as far as timing goes. Especially since I have already been working with them for a few months it could be in the first quarter of next year! I'd love to have it done before I turn 30 in May.

I have my first appointment on Thursday for my initial consultation. My insurance does not have a waiting period so they told me it could be anywhere from 2-3 months depending on how soon I was able to schedule all appointments and if everything went smoothly. They said total would be about 11 appointments. I'm going to Lahey in Burlington, MA.
