I think I would ask, how much have you spent on weight loss diets and items and ideas and unused gym memberships, et al, over the years? I believe almost all the people here would pay that and more for this opportunity. *smile* I'm reminded of the post where the lady WANTED to binge, but her band would not let her. VOILA!

So what you basically are looking for is a friendly booty call??? Believe me, small towns have that advantage as well as others. How small a town are you moving to? Our town is just barely over 3,000 and the rumor mill never lacks for material.

Something that I was thinking....why is the doctor so set on filling you to 3cc? You had 1.5 at surgery, why not go to 2? or 1.75? My feeling is that you should CREEP up on your sweet spot. I understand that it is a long commute, but would you rather go through all that pain. Joy had a lot of pain, too. Doctor put her on Prilosec and she's been taking Gas-X pills. After starting to feel better, she had a bottle of V-8 at work and it almost did her in. Scratch the V-8 from now on. That was about a week ago and so far so good. I wish you well, Jo Ann.

And the rest of the story..... As she was making her way out of the doctor's office, who should she run in to but the old doctor, himself. "Were you looking for me, ma'am?" No, just came for a weigh-in. As she slipped back in to her offices, she went to the bathroom, closed the door and did THE HAPPY DANCE.:whoo: None of the ladies in her office know of her band and she just had to let a little bit of it out....

I guess you would say that this is a YeeeeeeHaw! kind of day. Joy went to work and slipped into the doctor's office next door for her weekly weigh in (two weeks post first fill). I had thought of telling her that she should set 275 as a first goal/mini-goal. Well, that got shot to heck in a handbasket. She's already down to 271!!!! :cool: WOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! :Banane44:That's a total of 30 lbs gone for good! :youcandothis:You gotta love it!

Diane, check with Betty (Iluvharleys) for the answer to number 5. She rides (and so do we) and she's down 92 lbs. My DW was in and out the same day. Her surgery was scheduled for 7:00 am and we were on the road home at 1:00 pm. For number 3...nothing special.

Kelli, my coal mine is a hole in the ground. It's about 500 yards wide and about 3 miles long. The only thing that is going to fall on me is rain and sunshine. You aren't about to get me underground.

Go Janet!!!! The ISOpure is ok, but it really has an after taste, to me. Joy tried drinking some the other day at work and it gassed her up so bad that her shoulder started killing her again. So, she doesn't do ISOpure, just the Carnations.

That's correct on both counts...she was two weeks out and yes, I work in a coal mine about halfway between Dallas and Houston. Now, check with your doc's office, but I heard that they consider "clear" liquids anything that doesn't have lumps. So try the cream of potato soup and strain out the pieces of potato. Joy liked the cream of mushroom, too.

But what if you had sex, while doing jumping jacks on your head??? Yeah! So.....uh huh....LOL
