The level of pain and length of time is different for each person. My most painful day was day two after surgery. Each day after that was progressively better. I was feeling at 95% by day 6 post surgery.

Oh man! I hate to hear that, but remember we are just starting this journey. No one said you would have great results from beginning...remember how the successful ones say, give it time. Try to identify the strong signs of hunger as a sign that you're not there yet, but it's coming! Slip ups may happen, results may not come as fast as we like...rest assure knowing your time is just beginning...there will be lots of wisdom to share with newbies...hang tight the lessons are coming. I hope my msg inspired you to hold on, it's coming.

Thank you!! @@jcordova204 please let's keep in touch! I know the more people I can talk to that is in the same boat as myself makes such a difference. I actually think I may be in my green zone finally. I lost 2 more lbs already. I'm at 5cc's. I really feel full most of my morning until afternoon. I make myself drink my Protein shake though. But food isn't on my mind until 12-1pm. I hope to encourage everyone and we can all "band" together and help each other out when we struggle thru. This really has been the best decision I have made for myself.

I got the same email B_B. I'm not happy about TR closing their doors as I picked their office due to close proximity to my office, less missed work. But can't do much about the office closing, but I'm glad I'll still have same surgeon looking after me. I too don't know what they will charge for office visits, however, if more than reasonable, I'll be talking to surgeon about it. Who is your surgeon B_B?

I'm thinking it was something like a 24 HR thing. Feeling fine now. I'm just having to really work hard on eating really small meals...my fill seems to restrict me to about half of what I was eating. 1/2 of 4oz is hardly worth the effort of eating.

I had first fill yesterday, they pulled out what was there, had 2cc...then added another 2cc...so sitting at 4cc. I'm feeling so nauseous tho...just with Water and shakes.

Just having a shake makes me nauseous. Looks like I might need to divide it up into smaller portions. Anyone else have this issue? Even Water makes me nauseous.

I started taking stool softener daily, after 3 days, no more cramps. And BMs are normal again.

Still having left sided pain. Feels like might be gas, it comes and goes. Usually happens in afternoon.

I will pay close attention to how my body reacts to my next morning (pre-made) shakes. Thanks for the advice.

Has anyone else experienced pain on the left side of your upper and lower abdomen? Its intermittent pain, but pain nonetheless that I've never experienced before. I'm thinking it's gas, as when I press on it the pain goes away, but quickly returns shortly after. I have been dealing with diarrhea the past 24 hrs, so could be that too, but not sure.

@@cz.99 Just checking on you since surgery. Hope you are doing well. Things should be getting much better now.
Oh yes, much better. No pain, no sickness...just enough restriction to keep me satisfied at 4oz of Protein, little bit of veggies and two Protein shakes for the day. So all is good! 1st doc visit tomorrow.

Dr Todd Wilson did my pre op visit. He was great too. I was having trouble with my Uber app and he took the time to help me out. I was disappointed he wasn't doing my surgery but I met Dr Erik Wilson and loved him just as much. All great ppl there!

I'm in Houston, 3 days post-op. My surgeon was Dr Erik Wilson, LOVED him and the entire staff. I had a really relaxed and calming experience. Would recommend using him time and time again.

I'm a newbie! Banded November 18! Got moved to soft food diet. Having problems with extreme left shoulder pains.. any suggestions?

@ queenbee75 Do you know if the shoulder pain is due to gas from surgery? Or caused from something else?
