  1. 188! That is amazing in like just over a year. I am impressed! I have lost 105 in 8 months and thought that I was doing good. You are an inspiration! Keep up the good work.
  2. Thanks for sharing your sotry. I think that for any of us who have been through it and been successful, we need to share those stories and the honest truth about how we are. I have lost 105 lbs in 8 months and it is work! Keep it up and good luck on the last 25
  3. The first fill was so scary for me. I read on line that it was very painful and I am a complete baby so I was really nervous but my Dr. was really great and laughed at me about how I was acting. he used a numbing agent and I didn't feel a thing. I for sure lost more weight after the fill and there were big time changes in the way I could eat and amount and speed. That is when the really dieting happened. I think that it was great. As for the scales, I weigh twice a day still and I hear that it is bad but I paid a lot of money and have done a lot of work to get to this point and I can't help but obsess a little. I was banded on Feb 29, 2008 and have lost 90 pounds so far and I have had two fills. Sometimes it is really hard to know what to eat but your body will tell you quick and will reject what is not good. Stay strong!! I think that the fill will change things for you.
  4. I told everyone that asked and I gave all the info that I could. I do not think there is anything to be ashamed about and I am proud that I have taken my weight loss into my own hands and am doing well. I think that we all need to be a little more honest both with ourselves and our family/friends. The one thing that I was suprised about was that the friends that are not overweight are more supportive than the one that are. The friends/family that are over weight seem to be way more judgemental and that was shocking!! I really do think that some times misery loves company...
