  13. Ok, so my weight has crept back up...... My lowest so far (August 2017 was @ 5 month mark) was 168.6 lbs. Saw my surgeon & PA 10/28, stepped on the scale, and weighed in at 174.8-a gain 6.2 lbs. Don't like that at all, but I know it was my eating habits and lack of daily tracking (I had been faithfully tracking on the MyFitnessPal app, but slacked off over the summer). Since today is Oct 1st, I'm gonna restart my weight loss. I'm going to have 2 protein shakes daily, cut out carb snacks, eat more fruit/cheese as a snack, get stricter with measurements for the food I do eat, TRACK EVERYTHING IN MyFitnessPal, walk even more. I'm posting this hoping people will find me on MyFitnessPal (@ladygg1967) and encourage me to stay on track. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  14. It's the greatest feeling when you buy a smaller size once again! My daughter likes to go shopping with me-to make sure I get clothes SHE likes-since we're now in the same size for most things!!! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. I must admit.....this has become one of MY FAVORITE PICTURES! I'm loving the weight loss it showed just 7weeks post op. I'm going 2 take another pic in that dress soon, now that I'm 6months post op. I'll post it soon! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Thank you! The after pic was taken 4/23/17-the 1st day if a 7day cruise-just 7 weeks post surgery (surgery was 3/2/17). The before pic was Christmas 2016.....same dress though (year-round material, sleeves just pushed up) Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. Don't worry Desiree Newlove, the weight comes off at the rate that is best for your body's individual need. If you feel like your weight loss isn't where it should be, speak with your dietician/nutritionist..... they are the most qualified to guide you through this new way of life. Congrats and keep up the good work! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  25. QueenTiff, IT DOES GET BETTER! I'm now almost 6 months post op....while my eating habits have changed, things ARE pretty much back to normal. I'm back to eating many of the foods I've always enjoyed-THE PORTIONS ARE JUST WAY SMALLER! I even go out to dinner-and actually savor my bites now. Yes, just 3 weeks out, the struggle is real.....but the results are SO worth it! Check out my before/after picture in my previous posts-you'll be as happy as I looked in my after pic real soon. Trust me, it does get easier. Once you are completely back on whole/real foods, you'll feel better about the awesome and positive lifestyle change you've made. 28. Hello to everyone (pre/post, band/vsg/rny)! Had my sleeve done in Philadelphia on March 2, 2017. It was done at Temple University Hospital by Dr. Michael Edwards. I've been fortunate enough not to have experienced any problems/complications. It is now 4 months & 4 days after my surgery; I'm happy to say I'm down 50 pounds! I began this journey back in June 2016 and weighed 220 pounds.....today I weigh 170.0 pounds!!! YEA ME!!! (Still have more to lose, but YEA ME!!!!!)[emoji4] [emoji4] Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

  30. To all who have already responded.....WOOHOO!! Congrats to everyone of us who took that BIG step towards a healthier version of us! I too have had loads of fun watching the clothing numbers diminish. My newest NSV with clothes has come at the expense of a few haters called coworkers....I just placed my order for new uniforms; getting new tops in a large/new bottoms in a medium; at the start of this journey, I wore a TIGHT 2xl top and 2xl bottom. 1 month post surgery, I began receiving mean spirited comments about my uniforms not fitting-funny thing was hardly anyone said "OMG, your uniforms are too big", I just kept hearing behind my back that my uniforms looked a hot mess. Ordered new ones in a smaller size (xl tops/large bottoms). As long as the new ones were fitting a little snug, I got the "Looking good with the wt. loss" comments. Now, those are too big, and once again, the haters roared. While there were a few nice words said, many comments were negative. When I receive my LARGE tops and MEDIUM bottoms, I'll get the "nice" comments again, lol. I think the reason I have the dummies saying directly to ne is because actually talking to me will allow me to tell them where to go. I'm so happy we can talk about the NSVs instead of what kind of crap we are putting in our bodies. This wls has shown us there is definitely more to life than food, and for that I'M EXTREMELY GRATEFUL!!! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
